Veterinary assistants are the extra eyes 👀, extra hands ✋, and extra support that help appointments and procedures run smoothly each day!
They spend their days helping doctors, technicians, clients, and patients while constantly staying one step ahead. 🏃‍♀️💨
Their responsibilities include:
🐾Sometimes Reading the doctor's mind! 😂🐾 OR
🐾 Have developed the ability to predict what a doctor needs before the doctor even asks. 🔮😂
🐾 Hold pets in positions that would qualify them for competitive yoga. 🧘‍♀️🐱
🐾 Can remember 42 things at once while somehow still smiling. 😆
🐾 Have become experts in saying, "Just one more second!" during nail trims. ✂️🐾

Their willingness to learn, adapt, and help wherever needed makes them invaluable members of our team. 🌟

🐾🚶‍♀️🐕 Today We Celebrate Our Animal Care Attendants & Room Assistants! 🐈💕
Ashley, Julie, Tanavia and Katie

These team members are always on the move! 💨

Whether they're caring for hospitalized patients 🩺, looking after boarding pets 🏡🐶, helping clients into rooms 🚪, answering phones ☎️, or cleaning up unexpected messes 💩, they're always ready to jump in where needed.

Their daily responsibilities include:
🐾 Walk enough miles each week to accidentally train for a marathon. 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️🐾
🐾 Have cleaned things they never imagined they'd clean when choosing a career with animals. 💩😂
🐾 Can spot a pet about to make a mess from across the room like a superhero. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️
🐾 Have probably said "What do you have in your mouth?!" at least 20 times this week. 🤦‍♀️🐶
💡 Why They're So Important: Because someone has to keep the hospital clean, the pets happy, and stop dogs from eating things they absolutely shouldn't. 😅❤️
No task is too big or too messy! 😆
These team members help create a clean, safe, and loving environment for every pet in our care. ❤️🐾

🐾💻 A Big Round of Applause for Our Receptionists: Christine, Kori and Samantha! 💻🐾

They are the first smile you see 😄 and often the first/last voice you hear 📞
While they make it look easy, they are constantly multitasking and helping keep the entire hospital organized and running smoothly. 🐶🐱✨

Every day our receptionists:
🐾 Have mastered the art of answering the phone while greeting a client, checking someone in, finding a lost appointment, and locating a doctor's coffee... all at the same time. ☕😂
🐾 Can somehow understand what you're saying even when your dog is barking into the phone. 🐕☎️
🐾 Are experts at solving scheduling puzzles worthy of an Olympic medal. 🧩🏅
🐾 Know many of our patients by name... and sometimes better than staff & their owners! 😜
❤️ Are sometimes able to give pet clients a good reason to come back to see staff again!
& are great at comforting nervous pet parents. 🐾

💡 Why They're So Important: Without receptionists, nobody would know where they're supposed to be, when they're supposed to be there, or who they're supposed to be seeing! 📅❤️

Happy Monday! Its that time of year again...
🐶❤️ Happy Veterinary Technician Week! ❤️🐱
As we kick off the week, we want to recognize not only our veterinary technicians but our entire support staff who help make our hospital a caring, compassionate, and welcoming place every day! (It AINT always easy!)🏥🐾
From the smiling faces at the front desk 😄📞 to the team caring for hospitalized pets 🐕🩺, assisting doctors 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️, monitoring patients 👀, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes ⚙️, every member of our team plays a vital role.
💙 They comfort nervous pets. 💙 They support worried pet parents. 💙 They keep our hospital running efficiently. 💙 They go above and beyond for every patient who walks through our doors.

A friendly reminder: there’s still time to enter your furry friend in our Halloween Costume Contest! Send us a photo of your pet in costume through Facebook Messenger or text it to our PetDesk at (716) 664-4204.

Contestant photos will be posted for voting from October 31 through November 1 at midnight. The winner will be announced November 2. We can’t wait to see those creative costumes! 🎃
