What a really really good positive up lifting show it was today!

Both our Partbred Friesian boys did fantastic! A few bobbles but both came back strong and steady!

It’s been really nice to have time to train my own horses again. I had little of that when I was training others.
Tonight B and I just putzed around. He loves working in the bosal! We practiced side passing, pivots, and ground tying which he is getting better at each time. We have 3 shows we are heading to so far. I’m hoping his anxiety improves this year since he’s matured more. He’s mastered his confidence in the trailer last year so maybe this year his confidence will be improved in the show pen.
He has been so much fun to grow a partnership with. I love my baby dragon 🖤
We also measured him and he’s finally done growing at 17hh which is our favorite height around here lol!

Barn kitties truly make a horse barn complete! We have a 2-3 kitty limit here at RTF! All three do a fabulous job catching mice and birds and giving us all their love and affection.
Val our calico cat has food allergies and a heart murmur but we keep her comfortable and she appreciates us. Venom and Sabertooth are our two boys that keep us quite entertained. They were victims to someone dumping them in a box on our country road as kittens covered in fleas and malnourished. We love all our cats as much as our horses and feel they are in fact a staple in our barn 🤗

💕 keeps our property cosmetically looking amazing!

Good pasture maintenance is a must when owning a horse farm! We spread manure on our fields in the fall and boy do we get amazing grass growth every year!

Big thank you to Bowen yesterday for mowing two huge fields! The horses were happy campers last night!

It’s so nice to have an indoor to ride in through the winter months but our horses get used to the same 4 walls day in and day out after so long! We received 2 big loads of fresh sand to our outdoor arena today so we can get outside and ride!
