Meet Splat at CCHS! Splat is an approximately 1‑year‑old all‑black beauty who came to us as a stray with a litter of tiny ones. Now that her mama days are behind her, it’s finally her turn to shine and she is so ready for a home of her own.

This girl is all about love, and she’s not shy about showing it. Pets, cuddles, playtime. Splat is happy to soak up every bit of affection you have to give. She’s playful, affectionate, and absolutely the type to make herself right at home in your heart.

She’s open to sharing her space with other cats, as long as introductions are slow and thoughtful. Dogs, however, aren’t her thing, she knows what she likes, and she’s perfectly content keeping her world dog‑free.

If you’re looking for a fun‑loving companion who will fill your days with affection, playfulness, and plenty of purrs,
Splat might be your perfect match. 🖤🐾

Meet Paige today at CCHS! Paige is a tiny, gentle Yorkie with a soft little heart. She can be shy when meeting new people, so she’s hoping for a calm, patient home where she can take things at her own pace.

Important information: Paige is diabetic and will need specialized medical care for life.

One of her favorite things in the world is relaxing outside and enjoying the fresh air. Paige would thrive with someone who understands that trust takes time and love grows slowly, sweetly, and steadily.

If you’re looking for a small companion who just wants peace, kindness, and a cozy spot to feel safe, Paige might be your girl.

Pet Expo ’26 was an incredible success and it’s all because of you.

From the moment the doors opened, the arena was filled with energy, kindness, and a whole lot of wagging tails and happy purrs. Our volunteers, vendors, adopters, families, and supporters showed up in full force, with well over 300 guests and attending and so many had their furry family members along for the ride!

Thank you for visiting, shopping, learning, laughing, and celebrating with us. Thank you for supporting local rescues, meeting adoptable pets, and making this community event something truly special.

As we catch our breath, we’re already rolling into the next big celebration, CCHS Meowsquerade Ball: 9 Lives is this Saturday, and we can’t wait to keep the fun going.

More updates coming throughout the day… but for now:
Thank you for making Pet Expo ’26 unforgettable!

Meet P**f, an adorable CCHS kitten who is looking for a family to call his own. Could this little guy be the missing piece of your family?

And speaking of finding forever homes, CCHS Pet Expo '26 is bringing together animal lovers, shelters, and rescues from across our community TOMORROW from 12pm to 4pm!

Join us Saturday, October 17, from 12–4 PM at the Northwest Arena in Jamestown for a celebration of animals! Along with CCHS, you’ll find fellow animal welfare organizations, including Happy Bark, Nola’s Angels and Horse Rescue, Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, Phoenix Humane Society of Greater Cattaraugus, Small Town Shelter, TSE Wildlife Center, Westfield Stray Cat Rescue, and Wild Creatures.

That means even more opportunities to meet adoptable animals, discover the incredible work local shelters and rescues do, and maybe meet your next best friend!

Plus, enjoy live demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids, pet-focused vendors, photo opportunities, and Layla’s Pet Costume Parade.

Come celebrate the animals who make our lives better, support the organizations working hard for them, and keep an eye out for your own little lovebug. P**f would certainly love to find his forever home!

Who knows? Your next great love might come in a tiny package with black fur and whiskers!
