Our goal with Snowbelt Gardens is to become Jamestown’s first indoor vertical farm providing year-round, fresh, local produce for our community. Urban vertical farming will help meet the growing need for food and eliminate the need to transport food over long distances allowing us to provide produce directly to our metropolitan centers. e-existing infrastructure by farming within an old furniture factory building. Our growing facility will be highly optimized for energy efficiency. We will be using sustainable methods of production such as hydroponics, LED lighting, seasonal rotations, precision irrigation, and other vertical farming practices to maximize production and optimize efficiency. We are currently growing gourmet mushrooms (Oysters, Shiitake, Lion's Mane, and others we rotate in), hemp, microgreens, herbs and house plants in our indoor cultivation facility.
