Two tiny peas in a fluffy little pod! 🥹 These practically identical heifer girls are so small, sweet, and ridiculously cute!!! It’s hard not to fall in love with those little faces and those fluffy little butts!

They may be tiny, but they’ve already got huge personalities and plenty of charm! 💕

One is already reserved, but her near twin is still available!!

There have been long, stressful nights, moments when we weren’t sure how things would turn out, and losses that still hurt. But looking at these babies, I’m reminded just how much of a blessing this season has been.

Every penny spent, every sleepless night, every worry, and every heartbreak was worth it to see these little ones here, growing and thriving.

After all the fear of whether we could keep her alive, the hospitalization, the daily meds… finally seeing her run around the other morning! Then today I found her lying on her side and thought she was dead. The gasp I gasped 😭

So many emotions with this girl. I’m just happy you’re up and still so cute, even if you nap like you’ve been dead for 3 business days.

Does anyone else’s calf sleep like this?!

Meet Jasper!

This handsome, non-chondro bull is available at weaning and is expected to mature into a midsize frame.

He is well built, with strong, balanced conformation, a broad blocky head, and eye-catching yellow tips that give him a distinctive presence in the pasture. Along with his attractive build, he already shows a sweet, personable temperament that makes him enjoyable to handle and be around.

His dam is Joan Bone, a cow we love for the hair she consistently puts on her calves.

This sweet girl had a rough start from the very beginning. She was coming out breached and had to be pulled. After a traumatic delivery, and her umbilicus looked unusual. Before long, it had turned into a serious infection, and she had to be hospitalized.

We were so worried we might lose her. She’s had daily shots for seven days and more antibiotics than I can count. She lived in my bathroom in the AC & under a fan for a few days to help control her fever but she kept fighting and kept NURSING!!

Today, she finally perked up!! I went out to look for her as she wasn’t in her usual spot and I came around the corner to see her running around in the rain. 🥹🌧️ After everything she’s been through, that little run felt like the best sight in the world. Keep fighting, sweet girl!!

Has anyone used this colostrum before? I’m considering it because it can be mixed right in the bag and comes with both a tube and a ni**le, which sounds so convenient.. because ya girl is always misplacing things that are super important.

My hesitation is the IgG content: it’s 150, while the products I’ve used before required 200 to be considered a full dose. Is 150 an adequate amount in your experience? Recently with a newborn calf I had, the vet administered the equivalent of 150 igG by utilizing three packs vs 4.

I’d love to hear what your experience is!
