✨ Sitka’s journey so far ✨

14 days with us and this sweet 3-year-old has already crossed a BIG milestone off the list… her very first ride 🎉

Sitka is full of personality and absolutely loves being the center of attention.

For such a young horse, she’s been learning so quickly and trying her heart out every day 💕 Watching her confidence grow has been the coolest part of the process so far.

7 weeks ago this sweet 3 year old came to us to be started under saddle…and look at her now 🥹✨ This girl has gone from baby horse figuring out the scary world to finding her confidence and trusting the people around her. Every week she gets a little softer, a little braver, and more fun to work with. Watching young horses start putting the pieces together will never get old 💕

I really hate to do this but my career is demanding more than I ever expected. This mare was born and raised on my farm and has been my dream horse. She’s 6yo 15.3h and the sweetest mare you will ever meet. Granddaughter of bully bullion by Nexavar out of my heart horse 1d barrel 19sec pole mare. Raz is a dream I’ve used her for lessons beginner-advanced, she runs 2d with room for speed, she’s done poles, ran in rodeos winning money, ridden huntseat as well, and is a go to trail mount. Shes paid into FF and already has money earned, NBHA world qualifier. Raz is fancy broke, she can counter lope,side pass, yield hind quarters and for quarters, counter bend, back with ease, sliding stop, spin, soft and catty for a big mare. She would be an excellent step up horse for a youth or just an all around horse for anyone. She has always been 100% sound, utd on it all, barefoot, she is fantastic with anything you throw at her. She is 1 in a million and so sweet. Her only vice is she will crib if in a stall for an extended period of time with an easy spot to crib. Will stop with collar or if in a temp stall or solid wall stall. She’s a super easy keeper and gets along with everyone. Come try her you won’t want to leave without her. Asking 5 fig. Great home is a must!!! PPE welcome at lookers expense. She was just seen by the vet 2/16 with a healthy report. She is an absolute doll❤️

I haven’t been posting much since getting back to the states. Decided to do a winter series this year with the 2 kiddos. So far we’ve gotten a few checks!

I get asked a lot for advice, drills, or quick fixes.

Truth is, it’s hard to give people what they ask for.

Not because I don’t want to help but because most people don’t need more information. They need more time in the saddle and just with their horse in general.

With hours comes consistency, comes feel. You cant really teach feel without someone constantly saying “did you feel that?”

Listening to your horse instead of chasing the next tip or next big thing.

Most progress doesn’t come from a new drill or someone else’s program.
It comes from showing up, riding with intention, and letting your horse teach you.

Ride your horse.
Then ride it again.
That’s where the answers usually are.
