MDMT’s Valentine’s Day Foster Dog Spotlight✨
Marley and Bella are 2-3 yrs old and in need of a new forever home. Sadly their owner had decided on a lifestyle change that no longer had room for them. He said he has had them since they were puppies and they are from the same litter, crazy. He said he tried a shelter but since they were full, he decided he couldn’t find a new home and was on his way to s***t them. My clients stepped up to save them and is temporarily fostering them. Below is their information per the foster parents.
MARLEY 💙
Housebroken
Not crate trained
Friendly with other dogs
Very people friendly, have not had him around kids. He is very big so maybe older kids would be best.
Marley is very calm on the leash even when there are distractions. He just likes to be right next to you.
Marley has been with his sister his whole life, if separated he will need help dealing with the change. Marley has had basic training and is picking things up quickly.
Marley is fun loving, sociable and a huge fan of snuggling!
Even though Marley hasn’t had the greatest start in life, he has kept that lovable lab personality. You can’t help but smile when you are around him. His best life would be someone that wants an active, playful dog that loves lots of snuggles.
BELLA 💖
Housebroken
Not crate trained
Friendly with other dogs
Bella is very people focused, not sure how she is around kids.
Bella loves to go for walks and is very calm on the leash even with distractions.
Bella has been with her brother her whole life, if separated she will need help dealing with the change. Bella has had basic training and is a very quick learner!
She is a little squirrel obsessed. We were told she will chase chickens but never hurt one. I think she would have to be introduced to cats properly. Would benefit from impulse control training. Positive reinforcement only. She is smart and sensitive.
Bella is very sweet, playful and eager to please her people.
Bella is a very special dog, if you want a running partner, a dog to do agility, fly ball or some other athletic thing, this is your girl. She wants a job and lit up when the trainer was working with her. At the end of the day she turns into a couch potato that thinks she is a tiny lap dog.
