Just more than nine years ago, a brave, fierce pup was very thoughtfully and carefully rescued by Animal Care and Protective Services. She had been wandering the industrial area around Talleyrand Avenue for weeks, eluding everyone who tried to rescue her. Finally, she was caught and we knew she was very needed to help begin petTLC. So, the resilient Zelda Bette became co-founder of petTLC, along with her incredibly loving Boo Radley.

We meant to celebrate her officially earlier; however, as always, she has been too busy with Team petTLC to help with her tribute! So, cheers to our Zelda Bette---the beautiful, strong and loving stray pup---who now has brought us so much joy, so much lightness and so many laughs! We are very grateful for nine years.

A very warm welcome to one of our newest (and most beautiful) Team petTLC members, Missy!

Missy was adopted a little over three months ago. These photos tell the story that pet rescue teaches of the Rule of Threes. Ultimately, after three months in your home, your pet is bonded to you and feels total trust and love!

Such a fun, exciting time for petTLC, filled with birthdays, anniversaries and landmarks!

First up, incredibly good news. The beautiful Lilly who we focused on in a recent post is on the go in the very best way!

As her family is moving to another country, they were urgently trying to find a loving family for her to stay with for quite a while. Well, they found one----them!

Lilly is flying overseas and will soon rejoin her family! Luckily, we were able to visit her and enjoy some of her sweetness this weekend. This is the last photo we took of her and she does look very ready to be back with her family.
