Rescue Partners: We welcome other rescues to connect with us, so that we all can work together in saving pets lives. Our mission is to save those pets that are sitting in a rural shelter & or on "death row" by no fault of their own. We have very high hopes of giving each pet their "Second Chance" by finding their forever home. We will also reach out to those professionals for those pets that might need a behavioral assessment, initial and intermediate training. We believe that all pets remain in a balanced and positive state of mind.

🤍Poochie's Crew, please welcome our queen, Miss BISCUIT!!🤍

This sweet lady had been in the care of one of our amazing adopters with her two siblings since they were a couple weeks old. Biscuit's siblings have found their homes, so now it's her turn!

Biscuit is a very playful, affectionate tabby/calico short-haired female kitten. She is about 11-weeks-old, litterbox trained, and great with kids, cats, and dogs! 🐕🐱

She loves wrestling with all her fellow fosters, both feline and canine. Per her name, she is also a purr-fessional biscuit maker. If she could spend all day snuggling (with maybe a few play romps), she would be the happiest girl around. 🥰

As with all Poochie's cats, she will come with all age-appropriate vaccines, a recent deworming, a microchip, a negative FeLV/FIV test, and her spay surgery all included in her adoption!

Biscuit is currently being fostered in Jacksonville Beach, FL with our awesome foster, Olivia Sass. ♥️♥️

If you are interested in adopting Biscuit and giving her a loving forever home, or for more information, please contact us at [email protected] or complete the adoption application at the link below.

🥟🥔Everyone, let's give a warm welcome to the Potato Pals, Gnocchi and Pierogi!! 🥟🥔

These two boys are not littermates, but they are definitely family to each other.

Gnocchi and Pierogi are very playful and affectionate 9 week old kittens. They are both litterbox trained and good with cats, kids, and dogs!

Gnocchi, the orange medium-haired tabby, and is the spunky one of the duo! He will not hesitate to tell you that it is dinner time or that he wants snuggles. He is also uber confident and loves to be the center of attention. 🤩😜

Pierogi, the grey and white short-haired tabby, is our shy sweetheart. He is also snuggly, but he's more of a quiet affection. He loves wrestling with his fellow foster dogs and playing pranks on the adult resident cats. ♥️🥰

As with all Poochie's cats, these boys will come with all age-appropriate vaccines, including rabies, a clean f***l test, a microchip, a negative FELV/FIV test, and their neuter surgeries all included in the adoption fee! 💉🩺

These boys are located in Gainesville, FL!

If you are interested in adopting Gnocchi or Pierogi (or maybe both... 😉) and giving them a loving forever home, or for more information, please contact us at [email protected] or complete the adoption application at the link below.

🩺✨An Update on Scout! ✨🩺

This week our amazing veterinary partner, The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing, gave Scout their full attention to figure out the best treatment plan for our girl. We want to say thank you to Doctors Lexi Brandenburg and Kelly Bullett, as well as their entire crew for taking such great care of Scout. 🫶🥰

On Monday, they focused on her leg injury. Initially, we were worried that we would absolutely have to amputate her leg, but Scout has started to use it more and more. While she still does not have full mobility, we're hopeful we can rehab her leg! 💪

On Tuesday, we focused on her anemia. Part of the reason we are fighting to keep her leg is because Scout has severe anemia. Removing her leg so close to the femoral artery is not ideal, so we needed to figure out the cause of her anemia. After multiple tests, TVC did a blood smear and found that Scout also has Babesiosis, a tick-borne infection that, in essence, destroys red blood cells. As the bacteria spreads throughout the body, her immune system tries its best to fight the infection by destroying the bacteria's red blood cell hosts, thus causing anemia. 🤒

So far, Scout has responded well to treatment! She's eating and drinking and loves to snuggle with her foster family. Primarily, she is on bed rest while she recuperates her leg. 🤗😍

The cost of her treatment so far has amounted to almost $600, not including the potential $1600 leg amputation.

🐍 Did y’all know, we have snakes available for adoption? Meet BELT, FLEA, and CINNAMON! 🐍

We have a lovely foster who takes in unwanted reptiles that people do not wish to continue caring for. All of these sweet, misunderstood creatures have their own stories and their own personalities.

These three would make excellent pets for homes with children! They all eat frozen-thawed mice and rats, are active and thrive in their bioactive enclosures. Belt and Cinnamon are both boys around 5 years old, and Flea is a girl around 10 years old!

They do have an adoption donation that can be waived wth certain housing and care requirements met. Ask about this when you reach out!

To begin the adoption process for one of our scaly rescues, reach out to us on instagram or facebook to get started!

‼️ PLEASE HELP THIS DOG ‼️ WARNING GRAPHIC DEGLOVING INJURY‼️

We desperately need to fundraise for treatment for this sweet pup. She was most likely left tied somewhere and got her leg tangled in whatever she was restrained with. This leads to what’s called an entanglement injury, and now this sweet girl’s leg is partially degloved and completely non-weight-bearing.

This is a severe, life threatening injury and we need to act NOW if we are going to save her, and that means we are going to need funding.

If every person who followed our page donated 50¢ to her care, we would have more than enough to save her life. If every person who read this post tonight donated $10, we would have double what we need.

If you can afford to donate, thank you. Please use the button below. You can also donate via PayPal or Venmo:

Starting Monday you can call in donations to our amazing partner vet The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing and have them applied directly to her care.

🌴Let's all give KONA a warm welcome!! 🌴

A few weeks ago, we posted our Puppy Naming Fundraiser to help fund the care of these little ones; now they're ready to start heading home! 🤗

Meet Kona! He is an 8-week-old male shih tzu mix. No, we do not know what he is mixed with and we do not know how big he will be! But he's a cute little dude with a lot of personality 😜

Kona is a confident little dude. He enjoys playing with his brother Bandit, as well as the resident dogs, Kobalt and Kopper!

He is currently up-to-date on his age-appropriate vaccines and has a clean f***l test. With his adoption, Poochie's will cover his neuter, his flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and his microchip. 🩺💉

Kona is currently being fostered by the amazing Lani Doxey in Gainesville, FL with his brother, Bandit. 🥰

If you are interested in adopting Kona (or one of his siblings) and giving them a loving forever home, or for more information, please contact us at [email protected] or complete the adoption application at the link below.
