*update- I believe she has been arrested!! Although I believe she deserves a little more than that😅😅 prayers for rocket as well, I did not realize there was 3 victims in this horrible situation !!
All I can say is wow, what craziness I woke up too on Facebook this morning. The horse world is supposed to be built on friendship, support, and a shared love for these incredible animals. This weekend’s events at the NBHA have left many of us heartbroken, angry, and questioning how something so cruel could happen. A young girl acting friendly and supportive turned wicked so quickly.
Jealousy is a dangerous thing when it’s allowed to grow. It can turn admiration into resentment, competition into hatred, and friendships into something unrecognizable. No buckle, check, title, or win is ever worth harming another person’s horse, livelihood, or peace of mind. We all compete against each other in the arena, but outside of it, we should be cheering for one another. Your competitor’s success does not take away from your own. There is room for all of us to win. There is room for all of us to grow. There is room for all of us to support each other.
Most importantly, every horse owner should be able to unload their horse at a public event and feel safe. Our horses trust us to protect them, and we trust our fellow competitors to uphold the values of this community. When that trust is broken, it affects all of us.
If you are struggling with jealousy, anger, depression, or thoughts of harming yourself, others, or animals, please reach out for help. There are people who care, people who will listen, and resources available 24/7. Let’s be better to each other. Celebrate your friends. Support your competitors. Protect our horses. Choose kindness over jealousy, because jealousy destroys far more than it ever gains.😓😓🫶🫶
I hope a day deosnt go by that she is horrified by what she did. Emily grace, Hell has a spot open for you.
Please take a moment to leave a like and a share!! These horses deserve justice❤️❤️💔💔❤️🔥❤️🔥
