🩺 What is endoscopy?
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to examine
the internal organs or take tissue samples. A small, flexible tube with a camera (endoscope) is inserted into the body via natural openings like the mouth or re**um, or through small incisions, allowing the veterinarian to visualize the area without the need for traditional surgery.

🏥 What are the benefits of using endoscopy?
- Minimally invasive: This procedure uses natural openings, which reduces recovery time, pain, and complications.
- Less trauma: There’s less tissue damage compared to traditional surgery.
- Quick recovery: Pets often resume normal activity sooner with fewer restrictions.

Are you ready for our annual Trunks N Treats event? 🤩

Forever Vet’s annual Trunks N Treats event will be hosted on Saturday October 24th from 4pm-7pm at Furever Vets Central! This event will be open and FREE to all community members! During Trunks N Treats kids, teens, pets, and pet pawrents from the community will be invited to come celebrate all the festivities of Fall! 🎃🐾

There will be educational tours of the facility, Dr. Baxter meet & greet, multiple vendors in our vendor village, a live DJ, various outdoor games & activities, festive arts n’ crafts for both kids & pets, food trucks, themed cars positioned for trunk or treating, a bounce house, various coupon giveaways, and even a live pet costume fashion show for pets and pawrents to show off their amazing costumes! We will have five amazing categories for your pet to potentially win (categories include: best movie inspired costume, best Halloween costume, best couples costumes, best freestyle costume, and best stroller/carrier/backpack/wagon costume) — registration for the pet Halloween Costume Contest will open the day of the event when the event begins at 4pm! We will have live judges this year - there is not a link to pre-register ahead of time. Please arrive at the event day of with your pet dressed and sign up at one of our stations - you must be present at the event to win one of the categories. The Halloween Pet fashion show will begin at 5:30pm by the DJ booth/red carpet runway! If you have additional questions regarding the pet costume fashion show or event in general please email [email protected] before the event. 👻💀

Admissions and all activities are free, dinner is available for community members to purchase through the food trucks on site. Everyone attending the event is encouraged to dress up in costumes - pets included!! 🕸️🕷️

🏥 What is a laparoscopic spay?
A laparoscopic spay is a minimally invasive surgical procedure
used to remove a female pet’s ovaries. It differs from traditional spays by using small incisions and a camera (laparoscope) to guide the surgery, resulting in less tissue trauma.

🩺 How does a laparoscopic spay differ from a traditional spay? In a traditional spay, a larger incision is made in the abdomen to remove both the ovaries and uterus. In a laparoscopic spay, only small incisions are made, and usually, only the ovaries are removed. This reduces pain, recovery time, and risks associated with the procedure.

🐾 What are the benefits of a laparoscopic spay?
- Less post-operative pain: Smaller incisions mean less discomfort for your pet.
- Faster recovery: Pets typically recover quicker and can resume normal activities sooner.

🐾 What is your favorite thing about coming to work?
My favorite thing about coming to work every day is definitely the environment itself! I truly love the people I work with and the energy everyone brings with them. They make doing my job so much easier, more enjoyable, and genuinely something I look forward to.

🐾 Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have one pet snake named Split! He’s a Clown Het Ball Python with gorgeous yellow and brown patterns in so many different shades, which is actually how he got his name; after a banana split! We feed him live rats, which he absolutely loves.

🐾 Do you have any fun facts about yourself?
An interesting fun fact about me is that I am adopted, which is the reason behind my hyphenated last names. On a more personal level, I love outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and going to the beach. When I’m not outside, I have a huge love for anime and horror movies!

🐾 Why did you want to work in the vet field?
My love for animals definitely played a big role in guiding me toward the veterinary field, but I think the biggest reason I wanted to be here is because I feel this is where I can make the most impact. I’ve always connected with animals in a way that feels natural to me, and I believe they deserve people who are willing to listen to them, even though they can’t speak for themselves. I truly believe animals are one of the purest forms of love and affection people can experience, and I want to be someone they can rely on; whether they’re in need themselves or their owners simply need help caring for them. I want to be that person for as many animals and their owners, for as long as I can!

🐾 What is your favorite thing about coming to work?
My favorite thing about coming to work is knowing that every day I get to help animals and the people who love them. I really enjoy being part of a team that works together to make a difference for our patients, whether it’s helping them recover, keeping them healthy, or providing comfort when they need it most. I also enjoy continuing to build my technical skills and supporting others on the team as we learn and grow together.

🐾 Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have a moyen poodle named Machi (short for Machiavelli). He has a big personality and keeps life entertaining. He loves going on adventures with me and experiencing new places, and he definitely believes every outing is meant just for him.

🐾 Do you have any fun facts about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I really enjoy being creative, trying new things, and going on little adventures. I love exploring and bringing Machi along whenever I can. One of my favorite things is finding ways to make his world bigger by taking him to new places and letting him experience new things with me.

🐾 Why did you want to work in the vet field?
I’ve always had a strong love for animals and a desire to help them. Working in veterinary medicine allows me to combine that passion with hands-on medical care. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to advocate for animals and support both them and their owners during important and critical moments.

🐾 What is your favorite thing about coming to work?
My favorite thing about coming to work would be interacting with customers and their pets and making owners happy.

Yes! I have a cat named Rukia - 1 years old who lives with me and 2 pitbulls (at my mothers house) Jewels an Honcho.

Some fun facts about me, I am a twin and my dog Honcho and 5 other pups share a birthday with me. I was also apart of a band and a choir for 10+ years each and traveled to Spain, Prague, even performed in Carnegie hall!

🐾 Why did you want to work in the vet field?
I want to work in the vet field to help pets and their parents! I helped deliver several litters of puppies, my first one on my birthday! The joy I felt being able to help our dog through that is the same joy I try to recreate for others whenever they come through our doors. I may not be a vet tech but I will still make owners happy and relaxed and comfortable when they come

🐾 What is your favorite thing about coming to work?
Seeing the regulars for the pet resort both clients and pets. Also love watching critical cases recover and heal back to themselves again!
🐾 Do you have any pets?
Yes 3 dogs! Layla is my everything - she’s an almost 3 year old pit mix with tons of personality and my baby since she was a newborn. Draco is my oldest boy, he’s an 8 year old pitbull with tons of love for his sisters and just the right amount of security for his mama 🥰. Lastly is Prada she is our new edition Frenchie who is 3 years old and a crazy wild child when she’s not dealing with her one of many health issues.
🐾 Do you have any fun facts about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I am from Germany and I can play 6 instruments since the age of 12 with a strong love and passion for music!
🐾 Why did you want to work in the vet field?
In Germany my Oma ran an animal shelter and anytime a pet was there for too long or developed a health condition that made them less ideal for adoption she would bring them home. I have always had a special bond with animals where there is a level of mutual trust and comfort allowing me to break down some triggers or apprehensions they may have.
