For puppies, a vet visit is a brand new and often scary experience.
New smells. New people. New sounds. Being handled by someone they’ve never met.
These types of necessary experiences are exactly why spend so much time exposing our puppies to the world before they go home. We can’t prevent every moment of uncertainty, but we can teach them that new experiences are safe.
Today was another one of those opportunities for these puppies to practice being confident, adaptable, and comfortable with handling from people other than me.
It’s never just a vet visit. It’s part of the bigger picture. 🤍🐾
