PLEASE... Keep a check on any furbabies left out in this heat. Always keep fresh water, shelter and SHADE. If possible, bring them in during these hot days. And remember... A dog house is a shelter, but it does NOT help a dog cool off like a shady area will! And always, if you see any animal tied or chained with no shelter or water, please call us at 252-534-2611.

**** Phone line has finally been fixed! Always leave a message if no answer. The shelter attendant is in and out of the office. If you call and don't leave a message, we can't call back! Thanks!!!

Attention! Our shelter phone has been down. IT has been contacted to find out what is going on. We ARE NOT getting any calls! It does ring If you call, but our line is down. We can't get a dial tone. If you need us, please call the Northampton County Sheriff's Department at 252-534-2611 and they will contact us. Thank you! Please share so people will know!

Please be on the lookout for this furbaby. He is missing and his owners are frantic. Please share this post so we can get him home! Please share this post ... Found dog.... It is at the Northampton County, NC Animal Shelter . This dog has been here before and reclaimed years ago. I am not sure when and who... But I personally saw this dog in this shelter before. If you know who it belongs to, please inform them where their dog is. Very sweet and has been a pet... Not a hunter.
