Everyone needs shade and water 🤠

🐾☀️ Animal Heat Advisory ☀️🐾

It's getting HOT outside! 🌡️ As temperatures rise, our pets depend on us to help keep them safe and comfortable.

💧 Provide plenty of fresh water
🌳 Make sure pets have access to shade
🐾 Check pavement before walks - it can burn paws
🌅 Walk during cooler morning or evening hours
🚗 Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle

Watch for signs of heatstroke:
❗ Excessive panting
❗ Drooling
❗ Weakness or lethargy
❗ Difficulty breathing

If you suspect heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately.

Anybody with spare hay?

Pearl — square bales needed! 🌾

The family who took these two in to keep them out of the highway needs hay.

They stepped up when these horses had nowhere else to go, but with four horses of their own, feeding two extra is a lot. Your donations have helped us cover their care, and we’re incredibly grateful.

We are still seeking a more permanent foster home who can finish their rehab and continue their gentling. One has been haltered and has come around to being touched rather quickly.

They now need hay ASAP. 🤍 If you have hay or know where they can get some in the Rankin County area, please message us your contact information.

We have only Raised $814 which will barely covers hay and feed costs and they still need to be vetted. Please donate if you can.
