Mrs. Amy brings decades of experience, steady leadership, and unmatched dedication to her role as Practice Manager. After serving as Lead Veterinary Assistant for over 20 years at our sister clinic, she stepped into management with the same grace and composure she’s been known for in our community since the 00s.

Her technical expertise is second only to her strong leadership and organizational skills, and she is widely respected for the lasting bonds she forms with both clients and patients. Calm under pressure and consistently dependable, Amy has a way of making even the busiest days feel manageable.

At home, she stays just as busy keeping up with her lively daughter, Harper, and her husband, Zac. While embracing the joyful chaos of life with the multitudes of rescues- from tiny kittens to hawks and owls- she values simple family time and the meaningful moments that come with it. Over the years, Amy has mentored countless team members, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers of their own, a reflection of her lasting impact on the profession.

Dr. Day is a compassionate veterinarian with a special place in her heart for senior pets. Originally from Middle Tennessee, she graduated from UTCVM and has spent almost two decades practicing small animal medicine.

From a young age, she knew she would either become a veterinarian or the first female NBA player, luckily for us (and her patients) she humbly chose veterinary medicine. That same curiosity and determination have carried into her career, where she is known for her empathetic care, strong client relationships, and constant pursuit of knowledge in her field and beyond.

Dr. Day communicates with her deaf dog, Finn, using sign language, a reflection of the patience and deep connection she brings to every animal she cares for. At home her partner in life and science, Ben, shares her passion for discovery , whether in the kitchen, on their travels , or at home with their rescue cats. Her compassion, curiosity, and dedication make her a cherished member of our team.
