You do not have to be a Jackson Co resident to attend.

A $20 non-refundable deposit is required per pet. This deposit is an admin fee for the clinic and not a credit to the invoice. Services and pricing are available at www.rascalunit.com. The total due for each pet is due on the day of the clinic.

Rascal Charities, Inc. will be hosting Rascal Unit spay/neuter clinics in Jackson Co., OH at 106 Wood Ave., Jackson, OH. These clinics are by appointment only and are open to owned pets and community cats. Thanks to the Humane Society of Jackson County (Ohio) for bringing us to help your community.

To reserve an appointment, a $20 non-refundable deposit is
required, which will be applied to the hosting administration fee. The balance for the cost of the surgery and any additional services or procedures will be due in full on the day of the clinic.

Rabies vaccination is required. If your dog/cat is not up to
date, our staff will administer the vaccine for $10.00. Proof must be in the form of a certificate or printed receipt from a veterinarian and must be presented when you drop off your pet.

Additional Rascal Unit services will be available at regular price.
The remaining balance for the surgery and additional services
will be due in full on the day of surgery and can be paid with cash or credit card (no care credit).

A staff member will reach out to you with drop off and surgery day information within 7 days from the clinic day. If you do not hear from our staff, plan to have your pet at the clinic location between 8-10am

MALE CAT NEUTER DAY $30 (Includes Rabies vaccine)
No income or residency restrictions - open to everyone.
Call 740-353-5100 between 10 and 4 (except Sundays)to get scheduled.
1. Kittens must weigh at least 3 pounds
2. Each cat must be in its own secure carrier.
3. Nothing to eat after midnight (water okay)
4. Rabies vaccine required without proof.
5. CASH OR CHECK ONLY and the exact amount is helpful and speeds up the process! NO CREDIT CARDS
We always get asked "when are you going to do this for females" and unfortunately we cannot offer this service for female cats/dogs or male dog neuters.

RASCAL UNIT SCHEDULING

We are beginning our 2025 Rascal Unit scheduling for Jackson County at this time. The first clinic is April 11, 2025.

Sign-ups will be done differently this year. Please send a TEXT to 740/978-0424 with the following information:

Your name
Your telephone Number
Number of cats or dogs to schedule

Please keep the message short with only the above information. Someone will call you when there is an open spot for you. When you are called to schedule you will need to pay a $40 deposit per animal via debit or credit card. This deposit will be applied to your total cost. Deposits will not be refunded if you do not show up for your appt.
