Since we're totally full on cats and dogs right now (new photos coming soon!), we decided to take in two beautiful snakes. Minnie is the female and Mickey is the male. Both eat live food, not frozen, but thankfully we’ve found a volunteer who can handle the feedings. They’ll be up for adoption soon. The female is an avid hunter when food is around and needs to be fed quickly, while the male is more laid back. They need time to decompress, but they’ll be ready shortly. Previous experience is a must, or at least someone knowledgeable looking for their first snake, but as with all our beloved babies, we’ll be pretty picky.

We are in need of:
Bleach
Disposable gloves
Large dog toys (we have plenty of small dog toys, but our bigger doggies need some bigger ones!)

Bowie and all his friends at the shelter appreciate all you do for us!

We are pleased to introduce Panda, a five-year-old female, and Little Bear, a four-year-old male. Panda is pictured at the door, while Little Bear is resting on the bed; they are not bonded and may be adopted individually or together, as they coexist very well. Although Panda can be quite assertive regarding treats, often requiring Little Bear to wait for his turn, she remains a gentle and affectionate companion.
