We work hard every day, but we also make sure to have some fun. Peanut loves to run back to his kennel from the exercise room, so we thought, why not have our fun-loving guy run in slow motion? He's up for adoption, super food-motivated (obviously!), but he's finally lost a couple of pounds. He's generally good, but he does guard his food from other pets.

While I initially suspected a leak and was unable to pinpoint its location, the resolution of a toilet clog ultimately led to the identification and rectification of several underlying problems. We are seeking to collaborate with a dedicated individual in Cape Girardeau who actively supports the local homeless population. We propose providing feminine hygiene products, personal care items, and similar necessities for distribution alongside meals. We are currently assisting a good Samaritan with a kitten that is experiencing health issues. The kitten was part of a litter born to a mother cat in the vicinity. It has already been examined at the Cape Small Animal Clinic, and X-rays have been performed. We are awaiting further information and welcome any assistance.

We're looking at some big bills with these plumbing problems, and two rooms (the bathroom and dog grooming area) are out of commission until they're fixed. The starting quote is $1500 and it's only going up. We should know more tomorrow and hopefully have it fixed by the weekend, but we definitely need some help.
edit.... we had a water leak as well, so that is a lot of the issues ... all getting fixed but not sure on cost yet
edit again. they fixed the draining issues and coming back to fix the water leak and should be all done and praying cheaper then we thought but plumbing is expensive

This elderly fella is Cado (short for avocado 🥑) and he is in need of a forever foster/ hospice home, he isn't actively dying by any means but he is just and old man who loves to be carried and sleep under blankets. He's lost almost all his teeth and blind in one eye so he unfortunately just paces in his kennel and sleeps a lot. With forever foster we do cover his vet with one of our vets. He is not currently on medication but is due to see the vets again to make sure. no issues just old age.
