With so many new followers and new owners
booking every day, it’s time for a reintroduction.

Meet Ashlind — dog trainer, owner of On Point K-9 Training, mom, and lifelong dog lover. 🐾

Her journey into dog training started the same way many of her clients find her… with a dog that just wouldn’t listen. What began as frustration quickly turned into fascination. She fell in love with obedience, structure, and the transformation that happens when dogs finally learn how to communicate.

Now she spends her days helping owners build clarity, confidence, and stronger relationships with their dogs through balanced, real-world training.
A little fun fact about her outside of training:
She loves ice cream (any season, any excuse), and a McDonald’s Coke is her go-to treat. After a long day of training she probably has one in her hand.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom 🇺🇸🐾

3 Mistakes I See Dog Owners Make Daily 🐶
And they’re slowing down your dog’s progress more than you think…

1. Inconsistent rules
One day it’s “no couch,” the next day it’s allowed.
Your dog isn’t being stubborn—they’re confused by mixed signals.

2. Repeating commands over and over
“Sit… sit… SIT…”
If you have to say it 5 times, your dog didn’t learn it the first time—he learned he can wait you out.

3. Correcting after the behavior happens
By the time you react, your dog is already rehearsing the mistake. Training happens before the behavior, not after.

Freya came to us as the sweetest girl with lots of excitement, little boundaries, and a BIG love for being everyone’s best friend. Over the last two weeks, she’s worked hard on structure, leash manners, impulse control, confidence, and learning how to stay calm even around distractions.
