Nail trim vs Dremel

Pet nails tend to grow quick and can get out of hand easily, routine trimming is very important. Unkempt nails can lead to problems with dogs feet, pads of feet, joins, and even into hips, shoulders and spine.

Nail trimming is great! But go a step ahead and filing them makes all of the difference in the world!!

Some dogs don’t love the Dremel, but we can definitely work towards getting them used to it!

We offer both in the shop and you don’t have to have in in combination with any other service.

We actually have several things on the service list that can be done a-la-carte, stay tuned…more information to come!

She said we have the best staff, the coolest toys, and give the best snuggles of anywhere she has ever seen!

I (Kayla) wanted to share something pretty cool!

So Miss Penelope came for a Meet & Greet yesterday, so she could start at “play school” today in our daycare program here at Purely Pawlished. She isn’t used to being away from her amazing Paw-rents, or her own environment. She has a little bit of anxiety being away from what she is used to, and some social anxiety being around new dogs, people and in new environments.

So her sweet folks decided with their vet that a daycare, a few days a week, would be great for her growth(she’s only a baby still).

Today was a more laxed and slower day as far as daycare goes so she got to get a feel for things without the excitement of other excited doggies. It was an awesome way to gently guide her into some socializing and a new environment!

She has played, and romped, and napped, and chewed, and played some more, then napped again…. Literally all day! She made a best friend out of DJ(doodle pictured). She loved all the workers and wanted to us each of us as a chew toy.

Without a doubt she had a GREAT first day of “school” as her momma calls it!

The thing I want you to notice in the pictures is from the beginning to end, check out her body language! She was so nervous at first, absolutely expected! But as the day goes on and her confidence builds she starts to relax and enjoy herself. The last pic of her shows she was as cool as a cucumber and was very comfortable! The more time that goes on, she’ll be boss hog and won’t be able to get through the door quick enough!

Our goal is for your dog to LOVE coming to see us, whether it be for daycare, grooming or boarding. It takes patience, consistency, and soo much love!

Did I sit in the floor and let her wollar me, yep, did she use the other girls as chew toys and to boss them around and make them take her where she wanted to go, yes, did she make best friends on her first day, also yes.

Going a step above the rest is what we are here for!

Thanks Penelope’s mom and dad for seeing the importance of her development being in socialization and building that confidence! This pup will be unrecognizable in just a few weeks of coming to visit us!

Introducing our Mineral Mud Scrub

This isn't new to us, but is the first we are sharing the details here.

A Mineral Mud Scrub for a dog is a spa-like, therapeutic bath treatment using nutrient-rich clays (often sourced from the Dead Sea) combined with minerals like silica, calcium, and zinc.

Sweet Macy came to visit us and you can just tell she feels her best!

Her momma rescued her, and she has been placed in amazing arms of someone who loves her deeply. We were able to get off quite a bit of matting and make her feel wonderful.

Playground, splash pad, never ending water fountains and toys are unreal. So much love they can’t get enough! And the pampering is TOP NOTCH! They said their coats have never felt better
