I have decided to not host the MLMM Led event or CTR event. I cannot make the June 19 date work and the dates in May are competing with other priorities. I am happy to lend items, advice, binders, and all that I have to the next person.

I wish you all happy trails and I am glad to have hosted one of Sara’s last events- I’m sure Garrie knew. Sara shone at that event and she resonated with me deeply.

Please reach out to me for any details if you have the slightest interest. Returning things that a new manager will have is the:
Venue
Caterer
Trail system

… it’s a lot when you think about it. I hope someone can take this on. I have ideas, I am happy to share and help you achieve something special. I just know when to say, No.

MLMM is planning for a Leisure Only special (and I mean special) event next Summer at MLMM ~ The opportunity of this ride is subject to jobs, schedules, kids, horses, and of course scouting and sports coaching- whew! That’s a lot. If you have interest in helping host, or even want to have a mentor to help you host… it never hurts to ask! I can give you all the tools I’ve learned last year.

Here at MLMM, we are out of the box thinkers and always put your ride and horse first!

The decision to hold or not to hold this event will be determined in January. The website will also either dissolve or continue at that time.

However, if you just can’t wait a whole year…

Using the same trails that we did is another trail event!
There is an Endurance event paired with Ride & Tie and Equathon if you dare!

I couldn’t encourage the Equathon more. You ride at your pace and then take off on foot to explore the quiet beauty of the trails. All you have to be is in by dark! What a great learning tool for youngsters and what a tool to know exactly how your horse feels on the trail.

It’s all coming together. I’ve hiked all the yellow, purple, gray, some of the red, and probably half of the green. Close to 40 miles.
