What an incredible day of team building and leadership with a great group from Michelin.
We kicked things off with breakfast, introductions, and a little insight into working with horses. From grooming and groundwork to moving different body parts, we focused on clear communication, learning to ask different questions when something isn’t working, and understanding how our approach affects the response we get.
We also mixed in some ground shooting and an introduction to roping for a little friendly fun!
It’s amazing how much horses can teach us about communication, patience, leadership, and teamwork. Lots of laughs, learning, and some great takeaways.
Thank you, Michelin, for spending the day with us at Double E Performance Horses.

We got another one hooked!
Justice came out for her very first mounted shooting lesson and went 30/30 on targets!
What a way to start! So fun watching the next generation fall in love with this sport.

What an incredible weekend of mounted shooting clinics. We worked on horsemanship, drills, patterns, fast shooting, and the mental side of the game. Great horses, lots of learning, laughs, and an amazing group of people who support one another.
So thankful for our covered arena and new lean-to that kept everyone out of the weather!
Weekends like this make my heart happy.

We talk a lot about going back and watching old videos to see just how much progress has been made. Hard work, dedication, consistency, and learning to enjoy the process.
It’s so fun to look back and see the changes in Bekah Maddox and Cochise. All those little moments add up, and the progress speaks for itself. So proud of these two!

It’s amazing what 6 months of hard work can look like! Austin just turned 12, and I am so proud of how far he has come. He is learning so much, gaining confidence, and growing every single ride. Watching his hard work start to come together has been pretty special!

We got another new horse started this weekend at the clinic!

For us, it’s never about rushing the process. We take our time, build a solid foundation, and make sure the horse has the confidence to understand the job and succeed.

A confident horse is a successful horse, and that foundation is where it all starts.
Great job with your awesome 3 year old Jill N Jax.

Another amazing weekend with incredible people and horses! We got a new horse started, had a few interesting full moon moments, and did a lot of learning and encouraging.

And the weather was AMAZING! So nice to ride all weekend without feeling like we were in a sauna!
