Scotch has been with us for a whopping 177 days. That's a long time to spend at the shelter, so we are incredibly grateful to our foster families who give dogs a respite. Today Scotch got to spend hours hiking and hanging out with his foster family, exploring new things and practicing being a pet.

If you are interested in fostering, learn more at: https://www.spcaonline.com/foster-family We provide food, medical care, and basic supplies.

Swiss is one of our longest-stay felines at the shelter, due in large part to his intensive medical care. He was found as an injured stray, with wounds that have required multiple rounds of surgery to treat. However those injuries didn't affect his sunshiney personality, and as he has healed, we've gotten to see that he's an athletic and active fellow!

If you are interested in meeting him or any of our other cats, stop by the Adoption Center this weekend! We're open noon to 4:30 both Saturday and Sunday.

If you can't adopt, can you contribute to his medical bills? Little $5 or $10 donations add up to a big help with these vet bills!: https://www.spcaonline.com/gifts

Supplies needed! We're running low on canned cat food 🙀 🍽️

All of our cats get a wet food snack every day, and some handsome kitties like Stryge get their meds mixed in. Pate-style tends to be preferred, but we can use any type of food, brand, or flavor!

If you’d like to donate, you can have donations mailed directly to us or you can drop them off at either of our buildings anytime. If you come after hours, you can leave donations in the brown bins in front of either our Adoption Center or Intake building.

From all the kitties at the SPCA, thank you! 😸 💕

Karl Barks might win "Goofiest Grin"! This lab-type fellow was found as a stray, and was pretty scared when he first arrived, but now he's blossomed into quite the fun guy. He knows several basic cues, has had playdates with a few different dogs, and likes to try and fit all 77 pounds of himself into your lap. We're surprised that he's been here nearly 3 months without finding his new humans.

Do you want to meet this big boy? Email [email protected] or call 607-257-1822 and we'll introduce you!
