“Sweet Callie Cat” went on a trip with the beginner rider who has been riding her recently to experience a taste of camping and riding in the hills at Zumbro Bottoms.
This girl had the time of her life leading the way or following the group, climbing hills, navigating the rocky terrain, and crossing the bridges without even blinking.
She was such a calm, reliable girl, even in the presence of gun shots, horses passing on the trail, and riding with an inexperienced horse.
In camp, she was happy as can be. She trailered super well, made herself at home in camp tied to the tie rail, and was super excited to go see the sights!

Can you reliably lead your 2 and 3 yr old behind an ATV? Powerette and Rollinataces got to head next door to eat down some grass in an empty field and they were such good girls during the hike there!
These girls will be getting started under saddle soon so if one catches your eye, reach out for more information!

Looking for a Standardbred with a great personality, smooth trot, and super natural canter? “McThirsty” is here to deliver!
This guy is such a gem! He goes around great in the arena, and loves trail too!

You don’t want to miss out on “Major Burns”! This big guy has learned so much more than when this video was taken! He drops his head to bit pressure, is learning all about moving off of leg, and is so confident on trails!
If you’re looking for a tall thick boy with a smooth trot and Quarter Horse feel in a Standardbred body, this is your guy!

A trail ride with Standardbreds makes for one happy place! We’ve got “Major Burns” up front, “Sassy Tea” second, and “Sweet Callie Cat” bringing up the rear.
These three sweethearts are just so easy to ride and be around!

“Major Burns” (left) and “Sassy Tea” (right) out on a trail ride! These two are some fabulous examples of how amazing Standardbreds are!
At only 4 and 3 years old respectively, these guys are reliable and brave!
Their off-the-track label may make you think they are hot like a Thoroughbred, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! Standardbreds are calm calm calm and make great horses for beginners, timid riders, and are even commonly used in therapy programs!

Don’t miss out on “Twisty Twizzler”!
This wonderful lady is brave as can be and takes care of her riders. She’s got plenty of pep in her step to hit the trails, or have fun in the arena!
Twisty is a Standardbred mare that has worked on rural farms for the majority of her life. She was likely used as a broodmare as well, so she still has great legs and doesn’t have anything physical to hold her back!
Come meet her!
