*Those who have credits from barn hunt can be used for disc lessons*

$60/hour lesson includes 1-3 dogs. *Do not need to own any discs we have plently to try out!*

I am very proud and ecstatic to announce that Remedy actually won 💫2nd place Overall 💫 for Triple Crown today! 😱😱 There was a calculation error for points which happens- people are only human.

She killed it today with some tough rollers in the wind and man getting to that third zone in Time Warp was almost impossible. 😅 but we both stayed cool calm and collected (well until Greedy which was points only and then I think my patience with the wind was empty 🤣)

She got 3rd place in Spaced out earning 55 points tying our PB. She got a PB in Throw and Go with 27 points! And she actually completed Time warp 😵‍💫

Due to the small group size, they didnt do divisions which meant she was up against some really really talented dogs and handlers so I just went onto the field with a goal of earning some Updif points as I thought that we didnt have a chance.

Everyone knows the struggles Remedy and I have had in the past but I think we are starting to come together as a team. ❤️

Great opportunity for intro seminar by a fantastic trainer, Cathy! As well as some fun runs! We unfortunately have Updog Bite Club that day so we will unfortunately be missing out!

BARN HUNT BLAST 8!!!!

Who’s ready for a spooky, rat hunting, good time??? Yep, it’s our yearly Blast on Saturday October 31st…/Halloween!!!!
We will be starting at 9:00 with run throughs in a Novice/Open/Senior course. $5/run. Runs will be approximately 5 minutes each. Sign up for those will start at 8:30.
I will also be doing a free Intro seminar for new dogs to the sport. That will start at 10:00. You MUST email me at [email protected] to reserve a spot. Please include your name, your dog’s name and breed. It is limited to 15 dogs. For those that signed up, I will be sending confirmation emails with more details.
We will also be having a pot luck lunch. If you are planning to attend and bringing a dish to share, please comment so we can see what is needed to fill any voids.
Since it’s Halloween, it is only appropriate to have a costume contest. Gift certificates for a free trial entry or a class with me will be handed out to the top three costumes, human or a furry pup or combo!! So start your creative thoughts.

The VK9 Crew went down to Rosemount MN to attend an Updog Triple Crown event hosted by Outside the Box Training.

The wind today was BRUTAL. It was gusty and constantly changing direction so scores today where not great but the dogs tried their best!

Remedy ended up pulling a 3rd place overall in Spaced Out and Prophesy pulled a 2nd place in Spaced out!

Update on Barn hunt Classes:

Currently we are looking into other options and locations for hosting classes and maybe league again.

We are currently prepping to head to nationals in just over 2 weeks so hoping to have a plan by the time we get back :) so stay tuned!!

We went down to Rochester to attend an Updog Points only event and the crew did absolutely amazing.
The low key, stress environment was a great change and we humans even had a great time.

Remedy was on fire- like I dont even think shes the same dog.
Kerocene got to come back out and play and had a blast!!
The Labs did great and weren't missing as many catches.
Camo rocked his agility games and enjoyed being out! His first event since his GI issues.

Palmer got his skin checked out today due to some hairloss and is he not the most perfect boy just enjoying some cheek rubs from the Technician.

I stole a few pictures from posts I was tagged in so PLEASE share more in the comments so we can all share in the success and fails from the weekend trial! I tried really hard to be able to catch all your runs while also running my own dogs and starting my judges training! 😱

Okay it looks like we may like our labs but I promise I love all the dogs 🤣
I am like a proud momma for our my students did this weekend.
Ryker and Hoover both killed it at their first trial and earned their RATN titles.
Riggs killed it in Senior and did his tunnels!! And earned her RATS and RATNX this weekend!
Daryl premiered in Master A today after me bugging his mom to jump into the deep end. And what does he do?! Qs his first run! 😱👏❤️ amazing job!!

I also got the joy of running my favorite Malinois, Holmes in Open for his mom and although he did Q he still did great in my eyes 💫

You guys all did beyond amazing and I got some good compliments about you guys and your handling so Bravo to you!!
