You guys killed it tonight at league. We had some really nice hunting! Also some huge compliments with tunneling! Nice job everyone!

Next week: Kiel has offered to start at 6pm if anyone would want to come early. We will just run through who ever shows up :)

League tonight as scheduled!
Will be doing senior/master dogs first. Its gonna be hot and humid (as of right now) so if we can all be prepared and be ready to run so we csn get everyone home to the A/C :) our fitness building will be open for crating if needed

Calling barn hunt regionals an emotional roller coaster is a monumental understatement.
I couldn't be prouder of Scylla's outstanding performance this weekend, despite a tumble that left her with a cut face. It's clear that if she hadn't hit her face, she would have nailed that run. Her Sunday morning debut in the same ring was remarkable, as she left a rat behind - a minor setback, given her usual excellence - and successfully navigated the tunnel send, showcasing her incredible agility and somewhat obedience skills.
People came up to me throughout the day to offer kind words about Scylla's spirit, and their encouragement brought tears of joy to my eyes 🥹. In her second run on Sunday, Scylla truly shone, snagging 5 rats and claiming 2nd place in her division, a testament to her unwavering dedication.
The outpouring of support after her run was truly overwhelming, and I'm grateful for the love.

At this stage, I know podiums aren't in her favor due to her age, but Scylla's enthusiasm is contagious, and I'm determined to cherish every moment we share in this sport, until her body allows her to participate no more. Scylla still exhibits remarkable skill and finesse in the ring, gliding through challenges with her signature poise and screaming.
Earning 2 out of 4 titles in Master has given me immense joy, but now it means more training and runs for us in June with Oh Rats Barn Hunt Club, as Scylla requires 3 more runs to achieve her RATCHX9 title - guess someone wants to keep this barn hunt journey going a little longer!

Thank you to the Eastern Iowa Barn Hunt Club for hosting; Sue Kendall for your super fun courses- those distance courses were 👌- and bringing my new ratties to Iowa!
