Last night, 15 of our Irving Animal Services pups spread their wings and took off on the journey of a lifetime. ✈️💙

While saying goodbye is never easy, our hearts are so full knowing these dogs are one step closer to finding the loving forever homes they deserve. Every kennel on that plane represented hope, second chances, and a brighter future.

These lifesaving transports truly take a village, and we are incredibly grateful to every volunteer, rescue partner, pilot, transporter, foster, and supporter who helped make this possible. Because of you, 15 deserving dogs got the opportunity to start their next chapter.

We are beyond blessed to be part of these much-needed transports and to witness the magic that happens when a community comes together for animals in need. Safe travels, sweet pups—we can’t wait to see all the happy endings waiting for you. 🐾

We need your help! 💪

Help us, help our dogs! 💙🐾

🚧 Construction has resumed at the Irving Animal Care Campus — and while these improvements are necessary for the future of animal care in Irving, the short-term impact is significant.

As construction continues, Irving Animal Services and the DFW Humane Society will temporarily lose access to all outdoor dog yards and exercise areas. To help ensure both organizations still have space to safely take dogs outside, the small dog park located outside the Irving Animal Care Campus is also now closed.

These outdoor runs are essential — not only for bathroom breaks, but also for fresh air, exercise, enrichment and the opportunity for dogs to socialize and play while they wait for their forever homes. In addition, construction activity may limit the public’s visibility of some adoptable dogs currently housed at the campus.

While these temporary challenges are difficult, the long-term improvements will help better serve Irving’s growing population and the animals who depend on us. The expanded campus will include larger kennel spaces, upgraded medical and quarantine areas, additional dog runs and improved facilities designed to support more animals in need.

We are HERE at the VCA off of Airport Fwy in Irving! 🐾

🎉 They are celebrating Client Appreciation Day with some fun games, sweet treats and of course we brought some super cute adoptable dogs!! 🐶🎊

The event is happening now until 4pm! All adoption fees are waived while we are here. Make sure you stop by!! 💙🐾

At 6 years old, beautiful Lilith (A0060920166) has already mastered the art of being a gentle soul. This sweet Great Dane girl may be a little older and a little wiser, but what she wants most is a fresh start and a family to love her forever. 🖤✨

Lilith is dog friendly, incredibly loving, and despite being 88 pounds, this lovely lady could still use a few extra groceries and some TLC to help her shine her brightest.

She is heartworm positive, but please don’t let that scare you away — you foster, we treat, then you can adopt! We’ll provide the care she needs while you provide the love and comfort she deserves during her journey.

Lilith has so much love left to give, and we know her perfect happy ending is out there waiting for her. 🐾
