URGENT: SCOTT LANG NEEDS A HOME BY 5/31. PLEASE DON'T HESITATE!

Name: Scott Lang (more pictures in comments)
Age: 5.5 years
Breed: Cattle Dog/Black Mouth Cur, 70 pouunds
S*x: Male (neutered)
Location: Travis County, Texas

Owner is moving 6/1 and needs to find a new home before then. There is no time to wait!
Vet Info: Scott Lang is microchipped, he has been neutered. Scott Lang is current with his vaccinations and is HW-. Scott Lang was born with growths on both of his pupils (as did the entire litter), his left eye has been removed and he has never had any issues with his right eye. Scott Lang is otherwise very healthy.

Dog Info: Scott Lang is an indoor dog with the run of the house. He is housebroken and leash trained. Scott Lang knows the commands: sit, lay down, crate and go to bed. He has never had any formal obedience training. Scott Lang is outgoing and he is good with men, women and teenagers. He is good with male dogs, he has had limited to no exposure to female dogs. He lived with a cat when he was a puppy, 5 years ago, but has not since he has been with the owner. He currently lives with an 11 pound Chiweenie and they resource guard around each other but they are both easily diverted. Scott Lang will be nervous when he first meets you but then will become the biggest lover boy!

Can You Open Your Home? Foster Homes Needed! Fostering a Greyhound gives another the opportunity to come into our care and find their forever home!

Greyhounds Unlimited is in constant need of foster homes for our Greyhounds. By opening your home to foster, you help these dogs transition from kennel life to the experience of living inside a home. It can be a deeply rewarding, albeit occasionally challenging, experience.

If you're considering fostering, please fill out an application by clicking here and someone will contact you. You may also contact Kelly at [email protected]. Kelly is our foster coordinator and will gladly discuss fostering and how you can contribute. We'll address any obstacles together to ensure a successful experience for you and your new foster companion!
