Consider this your sign to meet someone new. 🐾🍂

A wagging tail. A curious nose. A pair of hopeful eyes. Our longest residents have plenty of personality and are ready to find their people.

Look for the purple kennel card icon at Irvine Animal Care Center. Adoption fees are waived for these featured pets, so you can spend less time waiting and more time getting to know your potential new best friend. 💜

🎃 Your pet can be the cutest pumpkin in the patch.

Before your pup struts around the neighborhood or your cat makes a very dramatic Halloween appearance, make sure the costume lets them move, breathe, see, and hear comfortably. Skip anything with small, loose, or dangling pieces that could be chewed or swallowed, too.

Remember, not every pet is interested in dressing up. If your pet looks uncomfortable, stressed, or ready to make a break for it, take off the costume. A festive bandana or collar can still deliver plenty of Halloween spirit without the full outfit.

Cute is good. Comfortable is better. 🐶🐱👻

See purple? There’s a special pet waiting to meet you. 💜🐾

The purple kennel card highlights some of Irvine Animal Care Center’s longest residents. These playful, curious and lovable dogs, cats, and rabbits have been waiting a little longer for someone to walk through the door and say, “You’re the one.”

And during Fall into Fur-ever, adoption fees are waived for these featured pets. That makes now a pretty great time to stop by and say hello.
