A poor kitten came in today that was found on the side of Rt. 24. Some obvious trauma here. He probably crawled into the bottom of a car and then fell out as they drove. Lucky a good Samaritan spotted him!

Frenchie & Peanut were adopted today from the Petsmart adoption center!

This awesome family just came to the shelter and adopted both Tex Mex and Schmole! And for the cherry on top they are now heading up to the Petsmart adoption center to also adopt their brother Nacho Man!

Dusty is a 4 year old handsome Russian Blue mix that is looking for a home! He is seen here relaxing in his hammock. Dusty has struggled with ear infections and eye infections since we got him but we've worked really hard and getting it all cleared up and now he's ready to complete his story and find a home. If you are interested in adopting Dusty please send us a message.

ICARe's littles group of kittens here! We want to spread the word that yes we're cute but did you know that we are being taken care of by a surrogate mom? That's right. Something happened to our real mom and we don't know what! Lucky the nice people at the shelter had a spare mommy we could barrow. That doesn't usually happen. That's why the shelter staff works so hard at spaying and neutering!

Every Thursday we try to raise $60 to spay or neuter a stray cat or one from a low income family in Iroquois County! Please donate here so we can reach this week's goal and keep on fixing the cats of Iroquois County!

Two upcoming spaydays - May 31 and June 7! We'd love to get a bunch of strays fixed in this county!!

Today, in our continued efforts to find Capone a forever home, he was evaluated by a trainer and passed his official temperament test with flying colors! We have not given up hope that our sweet boy will someday be adopted. If you are interested in Capone, please send us a PM.

It's Spay-a-stray Thursday! Every Thursday we attempt to raise $60 to fix a stray or feral cat from Iroquois county or one from a low income family.

We forgot to get pictures for you, but because of your generous donations last Sunday Mikey, Callie, Dorito and Pumpkin all were spayed/neutered!
