We need to find a new for ever home for Aliah. Female English Mastiff. Very well mannered. She was born in Macanaw city, Mi and raised as a yooper here in Ironwood, Michigan. She's 8 1/2 yrs.
Good on vaccines. Spayed
Sadly were moving on September 20th. 2026.

We need your help!! Yes, like we were saying the other day, we are starting to load up on cats and dogs and the amount of calls we receive about surrendering animals is becoming overwhelming, to say the least. But... we always want to help if we can. ❤️

There are six pit/shepherd mix pups that need foster placement so that HOPE can take them in as surrenders! They are 5 months old and said to be good with other dogs as well as children.
Unfortunately, we need placement asap and we know it may not be easy to find but we're hoping people will be willing to foster while we work to find them forever homes! Help us help these pups!

✨️ TINY ✨️

This little guy is looking for his forever home! We had a home lined up for him but it fell through so we're hoping there's someone out there who's been wanting a tiny companion! He's about 3 years old and a terrier mix, only about 15lbs (if that) right now but he does need to put on a little weight.
Tiny is nervous of new people but has really come around with enough time, as you can see. Now he's rather obsessed with this particular staff member. 😅
He needs someone willing to be patient and give him the time and space to feel comfortable. We're hoping now that he's gotten used to some of a us, his transition into a new home will be a little bit easier. ❤️
He does seem to have a little bit of separation anxiety so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal but not a deal breaker as he can learn to be okay with being alone sometimes.

Meet Max, he's an 8-9 month old terrier/chihuahua mix that needs a loving home! He made his way to HOPE yesterday and we are in need of someone who can foster him (and then hopefully adopt) once he has been fully vetted. We will provide you with everything he needs. He has a lot of energy but does pretty well in his kennel. He's a very friendly, outgoing boy that really enjoys people and seemed to be pretty excited about seeing another dog so other dogs in the home should be no problem! We are starting to load up on cats and dogs so if you've been considering adoption, or even fostering, we could really use it! We have sooo many wonderful animals here and some that have been with us for a really long time! ❤️
We haven't been able to take in any surrenders as our kennels are constantly filling up and adoptions have been slow.

These are all of our current adoptable animals and this doesn't include 2 mama cats that are in foster homes - one with kittens that are too young yet to be adopted and 1 who is pregnant and should give birth any day now. Also, Sakari, the puppy we featured yesterday and Han and Lulce (our senior huskies who are currently in a foster home).
So please, if you are interested in adopting, you can fill out an application online and set up a meet and greet with one of our dogs. You can also stop in any time during open hours to meet all of our wonderful cats! 🥰

Sakari is the last of the husky puppies to find a home! ❤️❤️ He is currently in a foster home.

From his bio -
First of all, he is absolutely adorable with his 2 different colored eyes and his ears that touch each other on top of his head. Second, he is a really smart, well behaved little guy (for his age and breed). He knows sit and will run to his kennel and sit for his meals, as well as treats. He is working on crate training and has done amazing – he sleeps in it all night long with no accidents. Overall, he’s getting better with potty training but occasionally still has accidents in the house but not often. He LOVES playing with his foster mom’s dog so it would be nice for him to have a doggy friend in his new home. He likes to chase the cat but it’s just out of curiosity so he could be okay going to a home with cats as well. Small children kind of weird him out so a home with older children would be ideal. SAKARI needs a home that has the time to work on potty training (not p*e pads) and that will give him lots of daily excercise and activity. Adopters need to understand that he is a husky mix and will be a high energy breed for many, many years and that puppies/dogs are a lifetime commitment!
