Dr. Nicole has had a busy month, between traveling to Philadelphia for the Exotics 365 conference and again to Fort Lauderdale 2 weeks later for the Feline VMA conference.

Last weekend, she and her 11-month-old Saluki traveled to Sturbridge for their first breed specific dog show. Badra won 4 first place ribbons in her class, as well as completing her titles to become a Canine Good Citizen and a Novice Trick Dog. Congratulations to them both! 🎉

This fall, SRH Veterinary Services is proud to celebrate 75 years of providing compassionate, quality veterinary care to the pets, livestock and equines in our community. This milestone reflects the trust and support of our clients, the dedication of our doctors and staff, and the lasting relationships we’ve built over generations. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey. As we celebrate the past, we also look forward to the future, continuing our commitment to exceptional veterinary care and the well-being of the animals we are privileged to serve. Thank you for being part of our story. We are honored to have served our community for three quarters of a century (since 1951!) and look forward to many more.

Those whiskers aren't just for looks. 🐱

Did you know a cat's whiskers are actually highly sensitive sensory tools? They help cats navigate tight spaces, detect changes in air current, and even sense nearby objects in the dark.

Trimming them is a hard no since it can genuinely disorient your cat. ❌
