🎨🐾 Saturday Spotlight: Arts Fest! 🐾🎨

One of our favorite things about summer is getting out into the community and connecting with all of you—and what better place to do that than Arts Fest!

We love being part of an event that celebrates creativity, local artists, and everything that makes our community so special. Whether you're coming for the art, the food, the music, or just a stroll downtown, be sure to stop by and say hello!

We'll be at Site E on Clinton Street with information about volunteering, fostering, adopting, and all the ways you can support the animals at the shelter. We may even have a few fun activities for kids.

🐾 Fun Friday with Sugar & Nightmare! 🐾

Sugar and Nightmare will be spending their Friday judging your weekend plans. 👀

Going out? They'd rather stay home.
Cleaning the house? They'd rather nap.
Running errands? They'd rather cuddle on the couch.

These bonded sisters have been together their whole lives and are still searching for a quiet home where they can spend their days doing what they do best—relaxing together and soaking up love. ❤️

🐾 Oliver's Journey🐾
When Oliver arrived at our shelter in January as an owner surrender. He was facing a difficult road ahead. He was struggling with significant skin issues, and despite diagnostics, food trials, medications, and veterinary care, we were never able to pinpoint one exact cause. What we do know is that through the dedication of our medical team and the incredible commitment of his foster family, Oliver's skin is now healing beautifully and he's finally ready to begin the next chapter of his life.
The transformation hasn't just been physical. In foster care, Oliver blossomed from a laid-back, sleepy cat into a playful, affectionate companion. He's discovered the joy of toys, Bird watching , loves curling up for snuggles, and has perfected the art of finding the warmest sunbeam in the house.
Oliver currently eats a special over-the-counter diet, daily medication and will do best with adopters who can continue to monitor his health and provide veterinary care should his skin issues flare up in the future.
Oliver's ideal home is a quieter household where he can settle in, be loved, and continue thriving.

✨ Wishlist Wednesday ✨

Meet Halo 💛

Halo has been absolutely thriving in her foster home! She’s living with two other dogs and has been doing so well learning the comforts of home life. From fun little adventures to cozy downtime, Halo continues to show everyone just how special she is.

She’s the kind of dog that keeps blossoming the more you get to know her — playful, loving, and always ready to tag along for life’s next adventure. Yet somehow, this sweet girl is still searching for her perfect person.

So this Wishlist Wednesday, Halo’s biggest wish is simple:
🏡 A home of her very own.

A family to continue showing her the world, give her a comfy place to land, and love her for the amazing dog she is becoming.
