🚨 HELP NEEDED 🚨

We were recently contacted by a landlord after a tenant moved out and left behind possibly 21 cats. Thankfully, this landlord has shown incredible compassion by caring for the cats and allowing them to remain safely on the property while we work to make room and coordinate their care.

So far, The Cats Voice WV has taken in two mother cats and 10 kittens that needed medical attention. One of the mothers is suffering from a serious eye condition and has seen the veterinarian and has been scheduled for further evaluation and treatment.

As you can imagine, the veterinary costs, food, litter, medications, and supplies for this many cats add up quickly. We are asking for your help to give these cats the care they deserve.

Gomez said he’s just going to stay this way until he is adopted!!!! He is so funny and sweet and none of our Volunteers can understand why this silly cat hasn’t been adopted!

Chance recently got to spend a day out at Harpers Ferry Brewery—and he absolutely soaked up every second of it. The attention, the fresh air, the scenery… this boy was in his element.

It’s hard to believe that before coming to us in November 2025, Chance spent nearly (if not over) a year sitting in a shelter, just waiting for someone to see him.

He’s estimated to be around 7 years old, but don’t let that number fool you—Chance is a pup at heart. He loves adventures, car rides, and being wherever his people are. Whether it’s a busy outing or a quiet moment, he adjusts beautifully and just goes with the flow.

He’s incredibly gentle, does great with other dogs, and is wonderful with kids of all sizes. The kind of dog who just fits into your life like he’s always been there.

Chance has waited long enough. Now he just needs someone to give him the forever home he’s been so patient for.

Meet Cooper 🐾

Cooper is a 3-year-old Brittany Spaniel mix (our guess no DNA has been done) with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. He’s fully housebroken, completely vetted, and ready to find his forever home.

This lovable boy gets along great with cats, dogs, and kids, making him an easy fit for just about any family. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you’ll see his true personality shine.

Once Cooper warms up, it’s game over—he turns into a total butterball who just wants to melt into your arms. Snuggling is his specialty, and if you sit down, don’t be surprised when he gently makes himself right at home on your lap.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will stick by your side (and probably on top of you), Cooper is your guy 💛
