To my wonderful clients,
This is not an easy post for me to make because caring for your pets is something I truly love.
As many of you know, Em’s Grooming & Boarding is a one-person business. Over the last year and a half, I have poured everything I have into caring for your pets, accommodating appointments, and trying to serve everyone who reaches out.
The reality is that I have been working almost nonstop. Outside of quick grocery runs and picking up my daughter, my 3-day Birthday trip (that I still spent working) I have barely left the house. I’ve missed family events, personal time, and opportunities to simply slow down, because I’ve been focused on providing the best care possible for the pets entrusted to me.
Recently, I’ve had to be honest with myself and recognize that I need time to rest and recover. In order to continue providing the level of care, attention, and quality that your pets deserve, I need to take a short step back and recharge.
This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. Those who know me know that I struggle to say no and always try to make room for everyone. I care deeply about my clients and their pets, which is exactly why I know I need to take this time now rather than continue running myself into the ground.
I am incredibly grateful for the trust, loyalty, and support you’ve shown my small business. My goal is not to do less for your pets - it’s to make sure I can continue doing my very best for them long-term.
