September’s Pup of the Month: WAYLON 🐾🤎

Some dogs become clients… and some dogs become family. Waylon has been family since the very beginning. 🥹

From sniffing out treats from a mile away, to tap-dancing his little heart out when snacks appear, to coming straight to my door just to need Mom’s gentle assistance getting back OUT to go home 😂 - this goofy boy has brought so much personality, laughter, and love into my life and this business.

He’s a farm boy with approximately 847 chickens, one very opinionated rooster, a garden full of goodies, and apparently a lifelong marriage to food. 😂❤️

He’s been coming here since February 27, 2025, and he is truly one of the reasons Em’s Grooming & Boarding is what it is today. He’s not just part of the business - he’s part of the family, and a huge piece of my heart. 🥹

So naturally, he deserved his very own September Pup of the Month coloring page! 🖍️🐶🌻

An Akita with a mind of his own, the stubbornness of a professional, and a heart made of pure sweetness.

He’s ridiculously smart, hilariously clumsy, and somehow manages to fold his giant self onto the floor like a frog. 😂🐸 And kisses? Oh, you have to earn those.

So every time Thor gives me one, I swear it feels like somebody accidentally deposited a $1 million check into my bank account. 😂

I actually like the dogs who make me work for it (I like all dogs, who am I kidding). There’s something so special about earning the trust of a dog who doesn’t just give his affection away.

He’s goofy. He’s stubborn. He’s freaking awesome. And he’s 100% Thor. 🤎🐾
