Bubba… also known as The Ball of Passion ❤️🐾 has officially found his forever home!

This boy brought so much personality, love, and enthusiasm everywhere he went, and we are so happy he found a family to call his own. Thank you to his wonderful adopters for giving Bubba the life he deserves. We know he will be loved and spoiled endlessly.

Beethoven is a 2-year-old deaf pittie mix with a heart full of joy and absolutely zero concern for personal space. If you’re going somewhere, he would like to come too. Car ride? Yes. Walk? Absolutely. Adventure? He’s already waiting at the door.

This goofy boy has been spending time with our volunteers and staff and has been doing wonderful on walks and outings. He even met Zeus, one of our employee’s Rottweilers, and did fairly well overall. Beethoven is social, friendly, and truly does not know a stranger.

Like many dogs, Beethoven isn’t perfect — and we want to be honest to help him find the right fit. We have learned he does resource guard certain things, especially toys and his bench/space. Because of this, we would want adopters to use caution with other dogs and young children in the home. His deafness also means his future family will need to understand how important communication, structure, and consistency are for him.

The good news? Beethoven is incredibly smart and eager to learn. Our staff has already started teaching him sign language and working on training, and the potential with this boy is truly endless.

He’s playful, goofy, and full of energy, but he also has an independent side. Beethoven is perfectly content laying in the grass with a toy, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by with that sweet “not a single thought behind those eyes” expression we all adore.

Beethoven is neutered, fully vaccinated, and officially ready to find the forever home he deserves. If you’re willing to put in the time, patience, and love, this special boy will absolutely steal your heart.

If you would like to learn more about Beethoven or meet him, please fill out a dog application from our website.

Meet Winnie — our not-so-senior sweetheart 💕🐾

We recently learned that Winnie isn’t quite as old as we first thought! After her dental on Monday (where she bravely said goodbye to 11 more teeth 😅), the vet now estimates her to be around 7–8 years old. And honestly? Winnie is acting like she fully intends to make up for lost time.

This girl is the definition of LOVE. If you’ve ever wanted a permanent shadow, emotional support snuggler, bed hog, and best friend all rolled into one adorable package… Winnie is your girl. She wants to be wherever you are, preferably touching you at all times. Privacy? Never heard of it.

One thing we’ve learned about Winnie is that she would probably thrive as the queen of her own castle. She really loves having all the attention for herself — and frankly, after all she’s been through, we think she deserves it. She did meet a laid-back male dog and did well, but any dog sibling would need to understand that Winnie fully expects to be the main character at all times. 👑

Winnie is good with cats, good with kids, incredibly food and treat motivated, and still has a playful side. She’ll happily chase after a ball or toy… bringing it back, however, feels like an unreasonable expectation in her opinion.

And we cannot forget one of Winnie’s best features — that big tongue hanging out of her mouth all the time. Between her missing teeth and her constant blep, she somehow becomes even cuter every single day.

We truly can’t emphasize enough how special Winnie is. She is sweet, goofy, loving, funny, and just the absolute best girl. Whoever adopts Winnie is going to hit the jackpot. ❤️

If you would like to meet Winnie please fill out a dog application from our website!

UPDATE: ADOPTED
Meet Bubba – the Ball of Passion 🧡

Bubba earned his nickname from his previous owners, who lovingly called him a “ball of passion.” It was a very difficult decision for them to rehome him, and it’s clear he was deeply loved. Now, this 6-year-old neutered orange boy is looking for a new family to share all that love with.

Bubba is a big guy with an even bigger heart. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets and affection you’re willing to give. True to his laid-back nature, Bubba enjoys spending his days lounging in cozy spots, napping the hours away like the king he is.

He’s also a great fit for a variety of homes—Bubba gets along well with other cats and doesn’t react to dogs, making him an easy addition to a multi-pet household.

Because Bubba loves his snacks just as much as he loves his people, he’ll need a family committed to helping him stay on his weight loss journey. Continuing his diet will be important to keep him healthy and feeling his best.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion with a whole lot of love to give, Bubba is ready to be your new best friend. 🐾

Looks like someone forgot to RSVP… 💍🐾

We’ve got a couple wedding crashers on our hands! These two lovely ladies were picked up strutting their stuff on 80th & G76 at Bailey’s Farms Barn and Venue—and let’s just say they were ready to party.

No microchips, no invite, and definitely no plus-one listed… but they showed up anyway!

If these girls belong to you (or you know who they hitched a ride with), please contact Kiya Koda with any information. Let’s get these party guests back home where they belong! 🐶💕
