I appreciate all of the outpouring of support and caring all of you have given me on the loss of my beloved Fly. Her name on her papers is Petty’s Dragonfly. Truffle’s, you can see plenty of videos and pictures of my girl Truffle, remember where I picked Fly’s name. They had this delivered at my door today. Many thanks to everyone for your kind words and love. Fly with my granddaughter Samantha.

A terrible day at Indiana working dogs!

Today is one of those heartbreaking days as a dog owner. I thought I closed the fence when I ran in to go to the restroom. Unfortunately, I did not and someone hit my beautiful Fly. It was heart wrenching to see my beautiful girl laying there dead. No one stopped she was laying in the yard. You can do things a million times but only one time is all it takes. She had never ran on the road but that doesn’t matter. I love all my dogs and Fly was special. I can’t even say anymore I am more upset at myself than anything. My sweet girl! Wherever I was that was where Fly wanted to be. 💔

Today at Perry Meridian Sixth Grade Academy in Indianapolis, IN. I was there for a career day. I took Fly my standard d poodle, then took Toby the Sealyham terrier and Roxy the West Siberian Laika in the afternoon.

Look at Little Ringo - he isn't so little anymore. Ringo and his handler are doing great. Getting back out in the community. Being able to go grocery shopping again in person is amazing.

This is what it is all about. Our 4th Annual Putting 4 Paws this Friday. Every penny raised goes directly to our mission.

If I have said this once I have said these things a thousand times. It’s good to know I am not alone on these things!
