Our October Vet of the Month has two NCAA national championships... and a pretty great approach to pet care. 🏆

Meet Dr. Rachel Lether! Before vet school, she rowed for UC Berkeley. Today, she brings that same team mindset to every exam room, partnering with you to build a care plan that fits your pet and your life.

"For me, it all comes down to teamwork!"

October 21 is National Pets for Veterans Day, a day to recognize the incredible bond between veterans and the animals who support them. 🐾

For many veterans, pets, service dogs, and emotional support animals can provide companionship, comfort, and a sense of connection while navigating challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the transition back to civilian life.

At Pet Wellness Clinics, the human-animal bond is at the heart of everything we do, and we're proud to celebrate the veterans in our community and the pets who stand by them.

Want to help? Our friends at Humane Society for Hamilton County (Indiana) offer Pets Healing Vets, a program that pairs veterans with shelter pets and covers their care for life. Learn more and get involved: hamiltonhumane.com/programs/pets-healing-vets
