🐾 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible Vet Techs who truly do it all. ❤️

From drawing blood and taking X-rays to assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia, running lab work, comforting nervous pets, educating owners, cleaning kennels, giving medications—and being a shoulder to cry on when it’s needed most—our technicians wear more hats than we could ever fit into one picture.

Their days can be messy, exhausting, emotional, hilarious, and incredibly rewarding. Through it all, they continue to show up with compassion, skill, patience, and a whole lot of love for every pet who walks through our doors. 🐶🐱

Throughout Vet Tech Week, we’ll be celebrating the amazing people behind the scrubs who help keep VetCheck running every single day.

💙❤️ To our VetCheck technicians: THANK YOU for everything you do. We appreciate you more than you know!

Help us kick off Tech Week by showing our team some love in the comments! 👇🐾

💖🐾 On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was…
“It’s October 3rd.” 💅

✨ Vet Clinic: Mean Girls Edition ✨

🐶 “Stop trying to make treats happen.”
🐱 “Why are you so obsessed with me?” — every cat to their veterinarian
💊 “Get in loser, we’re going to the vet.”
🐾 “She doesn’t even go here!” — when your pet smells another animal on you
🩺 And yes… on Wednesdays, we wear pink. 💕

Happy October 3rd from your favorite group of slightly fetch veterinary professionals. 💕🐶🐱

🖤🐈‍⬛ Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛🖤

Today we’re celebrating all the beautiful, mysterious, and absolutely lovable black cats! ✨

Did you know that a black cat’s fur can sometimes appear rusty or reddish-brown in sunlight? ☀️ This can happen when UV exposure breaks down some of the pigment in their fur, revealing warmer tones underneath.

But whether they’re midnight black or sporting a little sun-kissed coloring, black cats deserve just as much love, attention, and appreciation as every other kitty. 🐾❤️

🐈‍⬛ Black cats are beautiful.
🐈‍⬛ Black cats are loving.
🐈‍⬛ Black cats are anything but bad luck!

Give your favorite black kitty some extra cuddles today! 🖤🐾

💉 Vaccinate — Keep your pet’s rabies vaccine current.

🐾❤️ National Pet Health Insurance Month ❤️🐾

We all hope our pets stay happy and healthy, but accidents and unexpected illnesses can happen when we least expect them.

Pet insurance can help make unexpected veterinary expenses more manageable, allowing you to focus on getting your pet the care they need when they need it most. 🐶🐱

At VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center, we work with a variety of pet insurance providers. Some examples include:

🐾 Pets Best
🐾 Trupanion
🐾 Embrace
🐾 ASPCA Pet Health Insurance

These are just a few examples of the pet insurance companies we work with. Coverage and reimbursement can vary by individual policy, so we always recommend checking directly with your insurance provider regarding your specific plan and benefits.

Don't have pet insurance? We also offer payment options through CareCredit and Cherry to help with unexpected veterinary expenses.

💡 Planning ahead today can help you feel more prepared when the unexpected happens.

Because when your pet needs care, you want to be able to focus on them. ❤️🐾

🐾💙 National Deaf Pet Awareness Week | September 20–26 💙🐾

Deaf pets are different, not less! 🐶🐱❤️

This week, we’re celebrating the amazing deaf pets who show us every day that love, companionship, and a happy life have nothing to do with the ability to hear.

We’re especially excited to celebrate our practice manager Caitlyn’s deaf pups, Luna and June! 🥰🐾 They remind us that with a little understanding, patience, and communication, deaf pets can thrive just like any other pet.

Living with a deaf pet may mean learning new ways to communicate—using hand signals, visual cues, vibrations, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement. Most importantly, it means meeting them where they are and giving them the same love and opportunities we give every pet. ❤️

🐾 Deaf does not mean broken.
🐾 Different does not mean less.
🐾 All pets. All abilities. All loved.

Help us spread awareness this week and celebrate the incredible deaf pets in our community! 💙

09/11/2026

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.

We honor the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the countless people who gave their time and strength in the aftermath, and the more than 300 search-and-rescue dogs who worked tirelessly alongside their dedicated handlers.

Their courage, loyalty, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙
