"PSA: We've already heard of 2 dogs that scorched their pads on hot pavement! Mattie's wearing Crocs. She moon-walks when we first put them on but finds her normal stride when we get going. The look on her face says: 'Hey, no hot paws!' She only wears them while on a leash outside or she'd chew them off. And we took our time getting her used to them. She hates boots but these high-tops stay on. And they're purple for epilepsy awareness. She got LOTS of laughs & attention at her hospital visits. Would you go barefoot on hot pavement?💜"

This four-month-old black Lab mix is a 25-pound bundle of fun, love, and puppy energy. She adores zoomies, carrying sticks, learning fetch, and earning treats. Cara sleeps through the night, is nearly potty trained, rides well in a crate, and is quickly mastering leash skills. She gets along great with kids and other dogs and is always ready for her next adventure.

🌈Rainbow Bridge: Phoebe🌈

Phoebe was only with Nadia and her family for a short year and a half before she started showing signs that her life was drawing to a close. Nadia shared with us her gratitude for being able to spend Phoebe's last chapter with her.

"We took her yesterday to the Moorse reservoir for a nice walk and some vanilla ice cream," Nadia said. "We wanted to say thank you to the entire LOLIN team for showing her kindness that lead her to us. She made quite the impact on us despite being with us for only a year and a half. I promise she was spoiled the entire time she was with us. Her favorite toy was a blue ball that she carried with her everywhere. She was incredible with the cats. She was a kind soul."

Our hearts are with Nadia and her family as they grieve the loss of their sweet, kind Phoebe.🖤

This sweet black Lab is without a doubt living his best life - with his furry sibling and his loving adoptive humans, the Mayfield family.

"Mr. Hendrix is really coming out of his shell with us," says Mark Mayfield. "We are nine months in with him and he absolutely loves lake house weekends. Long hikes through the woods, dock diving, swimming, and boat rides! This is him and his Brother Cooper and they absolutely Best Bros!!"
