‼️ We are hiring for a full-time Animal Care Associate. Must have some weekend availability‼️

Kennel Staff Position:

Do you love helping animals? We are currently looking to hire full-time kennel staff members with flexible availability. This is hard, dirty, physical work that is indoor/outdoor, so you will be subject to all weather conditions.

You MUST be hard-working, dependable, able to follow directions, and be able to responsibly handle high-energy dogs or scared cats.

This position will require working with both dogs and cats.

‼️ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at times‼️

Weekday hours are typically 9am–5pm & weekend hours are typically 8am–4pm.

Miss Niobe is still available! Fun little cat for sure 😍

Niobe is just really fun to have around.

She is a playful, energetic little cat who loves being around people and is always ready to play. Throw her a toy and she’s off, especially if it’s a spring! She might bring it back for you to throw again, but she also might just stash it in a corner for later. 😅

If you happen to open a bag of Temptations, whatever she was doing suddenly isn’t important anymore. She is a huge fan and will immediately come get a snack.

💗 M’Lynn 💗

M’Lynn is a beautiful soul who is searching for a reason to trust again.

M’Lynn was left behind when her owners moved. She was visibly sick and had been struggling outside for quite some time when we took her in. She was treated for an upper respiratory infection, spayed, and had to have a broken canine extracted. Now, she’s ready for a family of her own.

Somehow, through everything she’s been through, M’Lynn has held onto her loving, gentle spirit. ❤️

M’Lynn is looking for a cozy lap, a warm sunny spot, and perhaps a catnip toy to play with from time to time. She is approximately 4 years old, affectionate, playful, and uses her litter box without fail.

She can tolerate calm adult cats, but she isn’t looking to be their best friend. She would be happiest with a family who understands that she prefers to peacefully coexist rather than become a kitty companion to another cat.

It’s so hard to capture in a photo just how cute M’Lynn is, so you really need to come meet her in person! We love her and hope we can find her a family who will keep her safe and loved for the rest of her life. 🥰

📕 Buffy is looking adorable for her first day of school! 📕

✏️ Buffy is a 1 year old, 10lb, Yorkie mix. She is happy, affectionate and energetic. Buffy will need a home with another playful dog, or an energetic owner. ✏️

🏫 She is good with children, dogs and cats. Buffy seems to be house trained and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. 🏫

🎡These 3 brothers are Chihuahua and Pug pups. They are around 3 months old and we expect them to be around 15-20lbs full grown. 🎡

✨ Hiro ✨

Hiro is 6 years old now, and he’s been with us since he was 3.

Hiro has one very important rule:

You must respect his personal space, but you are absolutely not allowed to have personal space from him.

He’s nervous, needy, and surprisingly clingy. He hates dogs, thinks small kids are incredibly irritating, and firmly believes all the catnip belongs to him.

We don’t know what happened between being adopted as a kitten and returned as an adult, but it took Hiro a long time to trust people again. Even now, he’s still figuring out how to communicate.

Good news is, once you’re in his circle, you’re in. 💪🏻

Sometimes he’ll reach out and grab your arm or sleeve if you’re walking away before he’s done getting attention, which can feel intimidating. The truth is, he just really wants you to come closer so he can touch you again. For a cat who values boundaries, his love language is definitely physical touch… and snacks.

Hiro does well with respectful, easygoing cats. He can sometimes be found curled up sharing a bed with another cat, but playful little kittens are not his thing. If they invade his bubble, he’ll be sure they know it.

Hiro isn’t looking for a perfect family. He’s looking for someone special, and patient enough to understand him and appreciate all of the quirky, affectionate little things that make him who he is.

The fact of the matter is, Hiro is not going to just love you on your first visit. He takes a long time to get acclimated to new people, and depending on the time of day and what he’s already felt by then, he might not be interested in socializing with strangers. When he’s feeling good, he has no problem approaching visitors and *briefly* showing them affection. If it gets to be too much, he’ll just grumble a bit and walk away. 🤷🏼‍♀️

He’s waited three years already, and we’d really love for his next chapter to finally be the one that lasts. ❤️
