" I knew from probably 7 years old that I wanted to work in the field with animals. I've always had animals around me my whole life, and was raised to appreciate them. I loved going to the vet when we took ours and was interested in the medical side of it partially due to my mom being a human nurse!"

"When I was young I was always bringing animals home. From injured to young who strayed from their parent. I've always been a voice for the voiceless. From the reactive animals with unknown pasts to speaking up about stereotypes surrounding specific breeds. They don't have a voice, so I'll use mine."

"As a kid I grew up very outdoorsy and was always doing something with animals so I knew I would be working with them in some way. I always thought I would be a dolphin trainer, but I am scared of the ocean, so that wouldn't work, and I love what I do."
