Best Friends Pet Hotel is the leader of the pack when it comes to the absolute best care for your dog or cat. We specialize in boarding, grooming, doggy day camp and training. We are an Employee owned business, and all of our locations are owned and operated by Best Friends Pet Care. We offer a fully customizable boarding stay for dogs, cats and other pets - with either individualized or group play. We also offer Doggy Day camp through a monthly membership program called Canine Crew. We interview every dog, before they start Doggy Day Camp, and our Camp is staffed 100% of the time with our Certified Camp Counselors. We also offer Grooming services - you can make an appointment anytime, or reserve one as part of your pet's stay with us. With more than 30 climate controlled Pet Hotels across the United States, including on site at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, our state-of-the-art facilities provide your pet with a safe, clean and fun environment. For over 20 years, since 1995, we have been treating your pets like our family. Safety comes first when caring for your pets, and we make sure your pets are treated like our family.

One of the quiet truths of this industry is that when the rest of the world slows down, we speed up. Vacation weeks aren’t vacation weeks in pet care.

So to every team member working through the 4th of July week: thank you.

Thank you for the early mornings, the holiday shifts, the extra walks, the medication reminders, the enrichment sessions, the cleaning, the updates, and the care that allows thousands of pet parents to leave town knowing their pets are safe and loved.

How our locations prep for the 4th of July, behind the scenes. 🏡

It starts in May.

→ Every location's boarding calendar is reviewed and capacity is locked
→ Staff schedules adjust — we add overnight coverage across the holiday week
→ Enrichment plans are rewritten for the holiday — quieter activities, more individual attention

By the time July 1 rolls around, there's a playbook for every pet in our care.

We don't treat the 4th as a high-stress weekend. We treat it as a week where our job matters even more than usual and our pets deserve the best out of office experience they can get.

A note for everyone working this summer Friday:

Somewhere, a dog is completely asleep in a patch of sun with their out of office turned on. Their only plan for the afternoon is to continue being asleep in that patch of sun. If they move, it will only be to follow the sun as it crosses the floor.

Pretty impressive work-life boundaries, if you think about it.
