On World Snake Day, we want to remind all pet parents to keep a close eye on their furry explorers. Snakes are out and active during these warmer months, and curious noses are often the first to find them.

💡 Quick Reminder: If your dog or cat gets a little too close to a snake, don't try to handle the snake yourself. Call your pet back, move away calmly, and call us immediately if you notice sudden swelling, pain, or lethargy.

AWRENTS: LOOK BEFORE THEY LEAP! 🚨

With warmer temperatures, harmful blue-green algae blooms are appearing in local lakes and ponds. This toxic bacteria can look like pea soup or spilled green paint, and swallowing even a tiny amount can be fatal to dogs.

💡 Keep them safe:
Never let pets swim in or drink from water with visible scum or discoloration.

Always pack fresh drinking water for your adventures.

If they accidentally jump in, rinse them with clean water immediately so they don't lick their fur.

When in doubt, stay out! If you suspect your pet has been exposed, call us immediately!
