🌸 This Week at Double Dog Farm & Floral 🌸

The frost got a lot of things, but not everything! We’re thankful to still have fresh flowers to share for another week.

The flower stand will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM until dark, with fresh grab-and-go bouquets, plus a few dried flower pumpkins still available! 🎃💐

We’re so grateful for another week of flowers and for all of you who continue to support our little farm. Every week this time of year feels like a gift, it’s always sad to see the flowers go.

Stop by and grab a bouquet while they last! 🐾🐾

🌸 The flower stand will be open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until dark!

I’m heading out today to cut as many flowers as possible so we can keep the stand stocked for as long as I can! 💐 I’ll also be bringing flowers to the Fall Festival at Luger Plaza tomorrow, so come see us there!

We’re making the most of these final days of fresh flower season, and I’d love for you to enjoy a little more farm-grown beauty before the season comes to an end. 🍂

🌸 This Week at Double Dog Farm & Floral 🌸

We still have lots of beautiful flowers blooming, and it looks like the frost may hold off through the weekend! 🤞 We’re hoping for a few more days of gorgeous fall flowers, so here’s where you can find us this week!

💐 A Special Wedding This Friday

I also have a large wedding order going out Friday! These won’t be buckets of blooms for DIY arranging, but bouquets and boutonnieres designed and made by me. Wedding flowers always make me a little nervous in the days leading up to the big day because I want everything to be perfect and make the bride so happy. Thankfully, I have lots of gorgeous white dahlias coming into bloom just in time! 🤍 I’m so excited to bring these designs together.

🐐 Farm Chores

On the farm, it’s time to tackle goat hoof trimming before winter sets in. It’s always a bit of a chore, but one of those important jobs that needs to get done before the cold weather arrives!

We’re soaking up these last weeks of fresh flowers and enjoying every bloom while we can. Thank you for continuing to support our little farm and floral business. We hope you all have a beautiful week! 🌸🐾

Wow, what an amazing week last week!

The weather was absolutely perfect for our last farmers market of the season. We had wedding flowers going out the door, baby shower flowers, a busy flower stand, and I loved seeing so many flowers leave the farm and find new homes.

The Dahlia Market hosted by the Indiana Peony Festival was incredible! All of us growers, florists, and retail vendors were so happy with the amazing turnout. Most of us were pretty much sold out of flowers within the first hour to hour and a half! Even all of my little dried flower pumpkins found new homes. 🧡

This week is a little more chill, which I’m definitely looking forward to. I have some planting and cleanup to tackle, a wedding order and a florist order going out this weekend, and the flower stand will be open all week with lots of extra flowers.

After such a whirlwind week, I’m looking forward to a little slower time on the farm.

It’s a busy week here at Double Dog Farm & Floral! 🌸

We have a wedding order going out today, and I’m in full-on market prep mode for the last Original Farmers Market of the season tomorrow on Monument Circle from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It’s hard to believe the market season is already wrapping up!

The flower stand will be open Wednesday through Saturday this week, and we’ll also be at the Dahlia Market at Seminary Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make sure to stop by and see us!

And back here on the farm, I’m so happy to be back to my animals. We definitely made up for lost time yesterday with lots of outside time and letting everyone frolic through the fields. It was the most perfect evening.

It’s a busy week, but a really good one. Hope to see you at the market or the flower stand! 💐

Wow, today is really feeling like fall! 🍂 I guess it officially is, but there’s just something about being in a sweater at the farmers market that makes it feel extra real. And honestly, it feels GREAT outside!

Come join us today from 10–1:30 on Monument Circle for the Original Farmers Market.

And don’t forget, the flower stand will be open with fresh flowers for the remainder of the week!

I’m already loving this time of year. 🍁🤎

The flower stand will be open this weekend with all your favorites! 🌸

We’ll have our grab-and-go bouquets as usual, celosia bunches for drying, and Homecoming mini bouquets! We’ll have three different options to choose from, so if you have a student heading to Homecoming or know someone who does send them our way!

The flower stand will be open 10 a.m. until dusk both Saturday and Sunday.

I’m also so happy we finally got a little rain! It was much needed and gave the garden a nice drink. I’m looking forward to getting back out in the field and getting some work done this weekend.

I’ve decided not to have a U-Pick this weekend so I can give myself a little breathing room after so many orders went out over the last week, with even more upcoming in the weeks ahead.

We’ll have more U-Pick dates coming in October, so stay tuned!

Hey everybody! The week is already in full force here at Double Dog Farm & Floral.

There’s lots happening around the farm this week. cleaning up the shed, starting on some fall wreaths, getting the fields cleaned up, fertilizing, and all the little things that keep the farm moving along. Plus tons of bouquet making 💐

We’ll also be at the Original farmers market this Wednesday from 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m., with only a couple more market days left for the season. We also have a large wedding pickup happening Wednesday, so it’s going to be a busy one!

We have a new little friend who has joined us here on the farm… More details on our new friend coming soon! And, of course, Tater is being a little troublemaker as usual. 😂 Head to my stories to see what she’s up to!

The chickens are laying like crazy, and we are absolutely loving this beautiful weather today!

And one more thing… head over to my stories and help me decide..should we do a pop-up U-Pick this weekend?
