Hey there, neighbors... as the song goes, I did in fact, do it again. So many apologies! So let's roll out the red carpet for some of our pooches from midweek to past Friday (Saturday+Today featured tomorrow!). Our model citizen neighbor, Toast, came in to get a nice scrub down and to take care of his nails so he can give better high fives! Can't be angry with that! Harley Hoosier is the grand son of our volunteer neighbor across the street and came in to get a nice last summer cut as we move on to fall. He was a quite the delight, just like Coach Cignetti! BlueBear* graced us with his presence as his mother dropped him off to get looking like a stud so he can strut his stuff into autumn 🍂! My dear, dear friend Kingston and his wonderful mother also stopped in so the boy could get a clean fade that was as awesome as his personality - they may not be in the community, but definitely a distant neighbor! Hellooooooo Daphne! Her mum dropped her off to get a complete makeover and we gladly obliged. Her new haircut makes my MR2 headlights pop up all the way from my garage because WOW what a transfurmation! Another Garfield Barker, Cocoa Bean, came in to get a nice new 'do going on for her spooky szn 👻, she was wonderful - trying to show up her husky sibling up! Summer and Obi are now shop regulars, as they've both been in here multiple times to get their ears lowered. Absolutely a blast got the both of them as they got to romp around with resident MaoMao. Newcomer, Ritchie, maybe shy, but he was an absolute delight. Even during the haircut, all he wanted to do was just hug it out with those big doe eyes of his. Welcome to the pack, Ritchie! Lee Lee was looking like she licked a light socket, so we came to the rescue! We have her the best trim as she is now more aerodynamic so she can quickly slide up to her dad for snuggles. Last but not last, DVM Grandma stopped by to drop off her grand pupson to get an introductory shop day in for some experience that'll go a long way on his resume. NED! That's right, Ned. He had a blast making new friends, being bold and tearing up some toys with MaoMao - couldn't have done any better! More posts we promise, or we'll be... toxic!

Hey hey, neighbors! The weekend is upon us, so time to let loose and share some of our neighbors' visits! Miller and Mohr not only enjoyed being on security detail, but finally getting rid of some layers to lighten up in this record setting heat in September. Snowball, now a seasoned veteran at TFF, came back to show off his figure for his age bracket. Bricks is a first timer in every facet here at the shop, and we were here to save him from the thick humidity! His face came out clean and did extremely well for a first time haircut 💇‍♂️! This little cutie patootie Pomeranian came in as a walk up trim up while dad was getting his ears lowered across the street at the human barbershop! Mr. Clyde thoroughly enjoyed his time with all the other pooches, while getting lined and blended up. Naila's mother is a student here locally and really needed to get her pup in and we arose to the occasion. Now, Naila can see that the future is bright with her mom's education path! Louie came in yet again because he needed to get dolled up to introduce his human sibling and to also have some softer nails! Our neighbor, Monty, came in after a much needed updo... and he sure does look handsome afterwards! He was able to hang out with the north side of the park friends in MaoMao, Pizza and River! Our dear friend Sansa came in early for a nice scrub down and blowout. We touched up those paws and off they went to get a few more hours of rest! And Ori (Oreo) hit reset on his new coat and got a refresher and felt so good running around with his new pals! Absolutely a blast having everyday feeling like this, thank you again Garfield Barkers!

Good evening, Garfield Barkers! Social media may have been quiet the last few days, but the shop was anything but- this moment calls for a MONTAGE! This last week has been an absolute whirlwind of hair, bubbles, dander, borks, and playtime for returning Fur Foundry veterans and pups new to the shop. Please enjoy a Rolodex of all our visitors flaunting their fresh new looks FEATURING Winston, Circe, Laila, Butter Bean, Norman, Axle, Lola, Scout, Louie, Poppy, Pippa, Nieve, Barkley, Volt, Nova, Daisy, Willow, JoJo, Tracey, andddddd Thor!! Hey there neighbors! Hope everyone had a good line weekend. So let's get everyone caught up! Nova stopped in really quick to get some matting out and a nice defloofing. She was nice and relaxed while watching Studio Ghibli movies 🎬. Our neighbor, Remy, needed to get a nice scrub and a crisp line - except his Icarus wings 🪽 on his back feet! He had a playful friendship with Danny the Pond Boy. May Belle felt more at home with the condo of her choice, like we always say here at The Fur Foundry - We'll leave the door open for ya! A name that we certainly love, Porkchop got to hang out with his dad, River Song, Pizza and Arlo. He got his tight fade and lookin' stylish just like his new neighbor friend, Arlo! That little cotton ball is 10 going on 2 years old. He was so much fun to work with on his end of summer fade! Not pictured for today was a nail trim and also an emergency request ... there was a p**p disturbance in the galaxy! I won't mention any names, but a recent Long Tail Champion had an assplosion and we needed to get that taken care ... and on that brown note, have a great one Garfield Barkers.

Happy weekend, neighbors. And what a great long weekend it’s been already! We’ve definitely experienced an uptick of calls and such lately, so we apologize for the delays. We just have to say, some pretty dapper puppies came in, like this fella Jack! He LOVED hanging out with two fun loving Pomskies to distract him from the real work! He put in the time and it clearly shows, he was able to ride home with Grandpa in the coolest Jeep ever, Mom looooved being able to see his handsome face again. My dear, dear friend Peke came in as well to get a freshen up. His mom has been one of the pack for years, so we were sooooo excited to show her the new place. We love you Sue! Not to be outdone, Lucy made her dad BEAM! She was perfect for every facet of the groom, and as you see Lucy is shinin’ in the sun! It was an honor working with her. To close out a great Friday, MaoMao got to rumble with her new neighbor friend, Beckett! B got a great de-shed and nails filed down as we got to know his dad a little more! Nice having so many people in the neighborhood come in! Today, another great puppers, DAN DAN THE MAN MAN! He also got the Pomsky treatment, but something a little extra. Embarrassingly enough, Dan’s parents came in while his barber was serenading him to a nice lull. Looks like it worked though, so incredibly handsome! And that’s right, these girls. SO PROUD OF THESE GIRLS! Maggie and Prim came in for their private session for the second time and WOW! A tremendous growth session, Primrose ended up out shining her sister, Magnolia. We were all happy that they no longer need to be fully sedated, but to already see that they go with the flow now is just … amazing. And to close out the evening, Rob came in with his wonderful pups for a quick bath and nail sesh …. They were out in 40 minutes because Delilah and Jackie were just that good! So proud of everyone this weekend, goes to show you what a little patience and a lot of love can do! Have a great one, Garfield Barkers!

Hey hey heeeey! With the buzz about, we’ve been busy as a bee🐝. So let’s catch all you neighbors up to speed! Yesterday, Rose stopped by for what probably is her last true puppy cut, but that’s not the fun stuff… she had her first crush and me oh my she has quite the taste! She is not a shy one and she let Danny the Pond Boy know! Rose isn’t the only one that enjoyed Danny’s presence, Walter swung by his friend’s shop and get a fade for these super hot days we’ve been having. That’s why our neighbor pal, Otis, came in to be deshedded so he can loosen up. He thoroughly enjoyed his poultry flavored enzymatic toothpaste! Our friend Louis finished the day with a quick scrub and mainly for some nail maintenance! Not pictured was Ethel from the GSD Indy group and her nails getting done, what a trooper! Our dear friend, Fred is getting his crisp fade in before his mom heads out to Utah to gain a new PR! He definitely enjoyed bossing around the two goofballs today. Meanwhile, Teddy and Danny yucked it up with each other all morning until the Tedmeister actually had to put in some work. Not pictured is Saint from the GSD Indy group again, beautiful long black hair that we didn’t want to shave. Required quite a bit blowing out before and after the bath… but boy he was shinin’! Several nail trims came in and they were able to take in the vibes of the shop and once again … that old tv and video selection! Just like Fred’s mother said, feels like someone’s basement! Welcome neighbors to another Two-fur Tuesday! We started today off with a super special guest, The Fur Foundry’s first cat - Berglund 🏒 This gentleman was easy to please as he was just skatin’ around the whole place like it was his house! Super sweet boy and a job well done! Lorelei didn’t want to be outdone as she came in for the cat intermission. LoLo got the full blow out and honey, it shows… it had everyone thinking that Shakira is her Spirit Human! Ow ow! Not pictured, but he also did a GREAT job as introverted as he was - Crow 🐦‍⬛ the long haired black cat was fully dematted in no time and got to home rather quickly! As you see, our charter Garfield Barkers: Maggie and Max came in for a quick tune up on Monday and to catch up with old friends and the new fella. Meanwhile, our literal neighbor brought in his friend Little One! He came to get his bald fade and relax with his family. It’s nice knowing that even with all the dog vibes around, the cool cats were able to get comfortable enough to get the job done! Excited for the future!

Howdy neighbors! As we promised you, the super fun weekend we had! After working with Wilhelm (Aka Willie) a while back, The Fur Foundry was invited to setup a tent (which they provided for us and a table … and chair, THANKS AGAIN 😊). We can’t thank Amber and the entire team of GSD Rescue Indy for the fun time that was had! We got to take in multiple categories for the fashion show! Quite a few made a 🐝-line for me, going right under the table hahaha 😂! We even saw our neighbors there … and Grimm was dubbed a champion! Congrats buddy!! We were able to teach a few youths the differences of nail clipping and filing; and why some dogs prefer one over the other. They were incredibly receptive, which is incredibly refreshing! Super nice people and doggos all around - so many got a tie or bow tie! Hope to be affiliated with these people in the future, thanks again for having us! The weekend was in full force, as the team was setting up on Sunday for our fantasy football draft… a poor lost soul was wandering, needing help. Had a dog in hand in a matted state with gnarly big burrs on the under carriage and dog pits. Sarah Elizabeth came to the rescue and we were able to help the poor boy out. Come to find out, the Good Samaritan was helping the rough shaped fella out of the street! Fortunate enough for us, he was just like the Pond Champion and was fantastic for his new look. Our neighbor stayed with us to help the poor guy out as this was all different for him. Glad to see him in good shape and smiling at all of us as he was due for some nice R&R. This is why we do it folks, helping those that really need the help and it’s just so nice to be able to do so right in our own ‘hood. Can’t thank y’all enough for the ongoing support!
