We welcomed our second Carolina Green Anole of the season today! The parents were sold as "feeders", but have enjoyed life in a heavily planted Rudsta greenhouse vivarium. The female lays a single egg every 2 weeks up high in the canopy tucked safely in moss and roots. Try as I may, I'm never able to find where she hides them. Luckily for the little ones, the parents won't harm them. 💚🦎

Fun fact! Electric Blue Day Geckos can squeak when they feel threatened. It only happens when captured and I've become an expert at catching them. This guy has been on the run for 2 WEEKS!

After this week's amazing 2-day reptile expo, I put away the remaining Mourning Gecko hatchlings. I misted and fed them Pangea crested gecko food. This enclosure is within arm's reach of my living room couch, so when I saw this, I had to quickly get a picture. 🐾♥️
