Look who is having a good day!! LIL sounds awful but she has taken the bottle a few times today without freaking out. I decided to see if giving her some more space would brighten her spirit. And I think it did the trick. LIL is having so much fun.

I left some wet food in with her in case she decides to try it but so far she can't smell it. She thinks she is supposed to dive bomb into it.

Pain management. LIL has a decent amount of pain due to constant tube use which is why she is biting anything and everything (a bite guard unfortunately does not fix this problem) so we have started her on some pain management and I'm already seeing some improvement. She has latched to a bottle for an acceptable amount of breakfast this morning. 🩷

Ugh. That's all I can say about LIL right now. We switched up her meds. She is still too congested to take a bottle and today, unfortunately she bit through 2 tubes. That's very bad. I will keep trying but it feels pretty bleak right now. I cannot safely tube feed her any longer so she will have to take a bottle (if safe) or she will have to eat wet food, which she currently has zero interest in.

We need all of the good vibes 🩷

Phew! Very happy to have a trusted foster village 🩷 I was able to send Derek, Puffin, and Bridgette to stay with Little Foster Meows and Flint + Steel went to spend a few more days in foster care with another foster.

For my mental and physical health, I knew I needed some help. As I mentioned previously, they were easy, but it's still a lot of work. Plus LIL is still not well and we have some exciting new personal things going on outside of foster kittens we are working on.

Odette and Princess are still with me and they are doing great! We will wean them at some point this week but they are loving the bottle still.

An afternoon of O2 for LIL. I'm shocked that her body score is actually good considering her condition.

Bridgette, Derek, Odette, Puffin, and Princess are also doing very well, still on the bottle. They have been switched to Fox Valley kitten formula due to the recent recall.

LIL is still super congested today. Poor thing. But she is gaining weight and getting her formula via tube.

So far, I am happy with the formula switch. It's less greasy and yet also less sticky, if that makes sense. The bottles clean out much easier and don't leave a bunch of residue behind.

Still not feeling well, but she puts up a good front. Her congestion is still too heavy to drink a bottle on her own. Sh...

Still not feeling well, but she puts up a good front. Her congestion is still too heavy to drink a bottle on her own. She hates getting her nasal drops and being tube fed, but we are still pushing through!
