I was going through pictures of my past puppy families and realized just how many I’ve never shared. So naturally, I spent way too much time turning some of them into a giant we**ie dog. 😂❤️

But looking through all these pictures really made me appreciate how many wonderful people I’ve met because of ADH.

I know bringing a puppy into your family is a big decision, and the fact that so many of you have trusted me to be part of that means more than you probably know. I’ve had families come back for their second and even third puppy, send friends and relatives my way, and continue sending me pictures and updates years later. None of that goes unnoticed, and I hope you know how much I appreciate it.

I also want to say that I could only squeeze so many families into this little we**ie, so please don’t feel left out if you don’t see yourself! There are so many more of you I would’ve loved to include. Every family who has brought home one of my puppies is just as important to me, whether you’re pictured here or not. ❤️

I’m really proud of what I’ve built with ADH, but I also know I wouldn’t be where I am without the people who have supported me along the way. So genuinely, thank you.

And please, if you have one of my puppies, flood the comments with pictures! I would love to see everyone’s babies, especially the ones who aren’t so little anymore. 🥹❤️

These are the updates I love getting from my puppy families. ❤️

I spend so much time with these puppies before they leave, getting to know their little personalities, so it’s always nice seeing them out enjoying life with their new families.

I genuinely love seeing how they grow up and hearing what they’ve been up to.

And apparently this little girl was quite the attraction at the Covered Bridge Festival. 😂❤️

Thank you to everyone who still takes the time to send me pictures and updates. I appreciate it more than you know!

Apparently it’s the boys’ year because my girls are still waiting for their people! 😂💕 (but I still have a few males)

I know they aren’t dapples or some of the more sought-after colors, but I really wish more people would look beyond color and focus on temperament. At the end of the day, their personality is what you’re going to fall in love with and live with for the next 12–15+ years, not their coat color. 🤍

And if you’ve gotten a puppy from me before, I’d absolutely love for you to share a little about their personality in the comments! I can tell everyone how wonderful these babies are all day long, but I think hearing it from families who actually have one of my dogs means so much more.

I also have a little more flexibility right now, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if one has caught your eye.

More than anything, I’d just love to see these little ones settled into homes where they can get all the love and attention they deserve. 🥹🤍

They’re sweet, beautiful, full of personality, and have gotten pretty comfortable with the finer things in life. They’ve had a pretty good setup here, but it’s time for these little ladies to find families of their own!

Each girl has her own personality, but they all have one thing in common.. they’re pretty easy to fall in love with. 🐾

Congratulations again to our two puppy raffle winners!! 🤍🐾 I’ve already reached out to both winners privately.

I also just want to say a genuine thank you to everyone who entered, shared my posts, supported me, or has gotten a puppy from me. Life has been pretty hectic lately, and I know I haven’t always been as quick or as on top of everything as I normally am. The patience and grace so many of you have given me means more than you probably realize.

I’ve met so many genuinely good people through these dogs, and getting to watch puppies I raised become such a loved part of someone else’s family is still one of the best parts of what I do. I never want to lose sight of how lucky I am that people trust me enough to choose one of my babies.

And remember, if you entered and didn’t win, your money is NOT wasted. Every dollar you put into the raffle can still go toward another available puppy from me, and it does not expire. So even though only two people won tonight, everyone who entered still has that money waiting for them whenever the right puppy comes along. 🤍

I definitely want to do more giveaways and fun things like this in the future when life settles down a little. Thank you for continuing to support ADH Dachshunds, for being patient with me, and most of all, thank you to everyone who has given one of my puppies a home over the years. I wanted to say one more thing about the raffle before tonight, because I know not everyone is going to agree with it, and I genuinely understand that.

Breeding is one of those things where there are a million different opinions about what you should charge, how you should place puppies, what you should or shouldn’t do, and I’ve learned that I’m probably never going to make everyone happy. I’m not trying to with this either. I just wanted to do something a little different that might give someone an opportunity they normally wouldn’t have.

I actually understand why some people don’t like puppy raffles. When I first started breeding, I didn’t really love the idea either. But I also think the circumstances and the breeder behind it matter.

My puppies are born and raised inside my home. Half the time they’re literally born in my bedroom — or ON my bed because the dogs run this house and I’m just here paying the bills. 😂 They’re loved, handled, cared for, vet checked, and raised exactly the same whether someone pays full price for them or wins them for $50. And doing this raffle doesn’t change how seriously I take where my puppies go or the responsibility that comes with bringing one home.

The economy is hard right now. There are people who have followed my dogs for years and would absolutely love one of my puppies but simply can’t justify spending thousands of dollars on one right now. I wanted to do something that gave those people a real chance.

I know I won’t make everybody happy, and that’s okay. If raffles aren’t your thing, I completely respect that. You don’t have to enter. I just hope people can understand where I’m coming from and why I decided to do it.

But if you’ve wanted an ADH puppy and the normal price has been what stopped you, this is quite literally why I’m doing this.

There will be TWO winners, and entries are $50 each. You can enter more than once, and every $50 is another entry.

RAFFLE UPDATE!!!!

A little update on the puppy raffle 🤍

I was supposed to draw the winners today, but I lost Harley, my poodle and my very first dog, and I just don’t have it in me to do it tonight.

Harley and I spent pretty much her entire life fighting over who was actually the boss of the house lol. We drove each other crazy, but that was just our relationship. She was my first dog that was completely mine and was there through SO many different stages of my life. I’m going to miss fighting with her more than I can explain. But at the end of the day I loved her so much though.

So I’m giving myself the weekend and moving the drawing to Sunday, October 4th at 9:00 PM EDT. Since I’m waiting until Sunday, I’m also leaving entries open until 8:30 PM Sunday night for anyone who still wants in.

And just to make all the details clear:

🐾 Entries are $50 each
🐾 You can enter as many times as you want
🐾 If you already entered $100, you have two entries
🐾 Every dollar you enter is still credited toward a future puppy from me if you don’t win
