Indiana county needs humane officers. Here's your opportunity to help.

🚨 Help Us Bring Humane Police Officers Back to Indiana County! 🚨

Whiskey Acres Animal Rescue & Sanctuary has an incredible opportunity this September—but we need your help to make it happen.

Our goal is to send two dedicated members of our team to Humane Police Officer Training so we can better serve the animals and communities that rely on us every day.

Sadly, Indiana County currently has no active Humane Police Officers. By completing this training, our team will be one step closer to helping investigate animal cruelty and neglect cases, working alongside law enforcement, and ensuring abused and neglected animals have someone to speak for them.

The challenge? Training, travel, lodging, and related expenses are costly, and as a 100% donation-funded nonprofit, we simply can’t do it alone.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class will be starting soon! Class will be Wednesdays at 6pm. Puppies should be under 5 months of age at the start of class and do not need to have prior training for this class. After orientation the first week, we will have 6 weeks of classes with the puppies. (If your puppy is close to the age cut off please reach out to me.)

Orientation - (for pet parents only, no dogs)
When: Wednesday, August 5th @ 6pm
Where: Horses & Hounds (2285 Philadelphia Street)

Class -
When: Wednesdays at 6pm
What: Socialization and basic manners
