We have VERY happy news to share…Sasha has been adopted! ❤️ Our sweet Sasha girl, who came to us in July of 2021, caught this wonderful adopter’s eye and she decided that Miss Sasha was the one for her.

Sasha spent so much of her life with us, 5 out of her 7 years on earth. Despite being a shelter dog for so long (too long), she is always such a good girl and a ray of sunshine the minute you walk into the kennels. We just know that she is going to bring that sweetness and light to her new person’s life!

Sasha Bean, we are going to miss you so much around here. But we are SO happy that you have found your forever. You deserve all the happiness and love in the world ❤️

These cuties are adoptable REX and SASSY!

Rexy and Sassy girl are best buds at the shelter. They’re both young pups who just love to play together every chance they get. They are total sweethearts who are absolutely adored by our shelter volunteers and staff.

REX is a neutered male Labrador Retriever mix. He’s just over a year old and weighs around 40 lbs. He would do best in an adult-only home.

SASSY is a spayed female Jack Russell Terrier mix. She’s almost a year old and weighs around 25 lbs.

Both of these dogs would likely do well in a home with other dogs that they can play with and learn from — a meet and greet would be required before adopting.

Rex and Sassy are still young, so they will both need adopters who are willing to put in the work for house training and behavior training. A well trained dog is a happy dog!!

We updated our “30-for-30” calendar. You guys are awesome! Over half of the days of September are sponsored. There are still some open dates just waiting for you to claim them! ❤️

We are trying something new for September this year…we’re going to do a “30-for-30” ❤️

Here’s how it works:
1. Pick one date in September
2. Send 30 dollars for the date you pick
3. Help us fill up the September calendar

If we get 30 people to donate 30 dollars, for each of the 30 days in September…that is $900 for our shelter animals! This will help cover vet bills, transportation to and from appointments, cat and dog food, and all of the other day-to-day expenses that keep our shelter running.

We would love to get at least one person to sponsor each day of September. Plus, if there is a special date that means a lot to you, we can have several people on the same date. There’s no limit!

To pick a date, please comment below to tell us which date you want. Then send the $30 on Venmo, PayPal, or send us a check. Let us know how you are paying so we can watch for it to come in! We will update the calendar every day to show which days have been covered.
