‼️ FOSTER NEEDED FOR PEACHES TO LEAVE THE SHELTER‼️

Pretty Peaches is the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. Her goofy grin. The happy wiggles. The way she proudly carries her stuffies around like prized treasures (after reminding them who’s boss first, of course). But behind that smile is a girl who has become her shelter’s longest resident — waiting far too long for someone to choose her. 276 days too long.

After being abandoned at a peach orchard with her puppies in late August, Peaches ended up at the shelter. She’s been there since August 25th, heartworm positive, waiting for the lifesaving treatment she cannot begin without a foster, adopter, or rescue placement. Heartworm disease is not contagious, easily preventable and sadly deadly if left untreated.

🚨Thankfully rescue founder met Peachy and hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her. wants to help her and will pull Peaches from the shelter and into their care, BUT a FOSTER IS NEEDED to make this happen.

❤️‍🩹 Being a committed heartworm foster for Peaches won’t just give her the freedom exit she’s been waiting for — you’ll be the reason she finally gets the chance to heal. Heartworm fostering is rewarding and you will have support throughout the entire experience.

Heartworm fostering Peaches includes…
* Providing a safe home during heartworm treatment
* Committing to strict rest and low activity (lots of cuddles and stuffies for Peachy)
* Giving oral medications
* Monitor for symptoms or complications
* Offering patience, stability, and love during recovery
* Staying committed until the dog is healthy and adoption-ready (at least 3-4 months)

She’s been working with our rescue partner for the past few weeks and is truly THRIVING 🙌. LunaBelle has learned the “YES” marker for good behavior, is making great progress with calm dog introductions (walking alongside a fence with no barking 🙌), and leash walking is now a total breeze, and added in some fetch for fun. 🤩

She is happiest with structure and truly loves pleasing her person—just look how happy she is when she hears “YES” and gets her treat! 🥹 This training has shown us just how capable and versatile LunaBelle can be in a home. From being the best hiking or running buddy to the ultimate couch cuddler, she’s ready to fit right into your life 💛

‼️We are currently looking for a new foster ASAP as her current foster is in the process of moving out of state.

LunaBelle is also available for adoption and ready to find her forever home 🏡🐶 Training will continue with her new foster or adopter to keep her on this amazing path!

Update: Buddy is safe in a temp foster home at the moment. Looking for full time/adopter! 🙏🏼

🚨 IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED FOR BUDDY 🚨

Buddy is in crisis and needs somewhere to go by TOMORROW. His current so-called “foster” has suddenly cut his time short and is now threatening to dump him at a shelter where he will likely be euthanized immediately. 😭

This is NOT Buddy’s fault. He has done absolutely nothing wrong. He is a good dog who does not deserve this.

Because of the holiday, all boarding facilities are closed and our rescue has literally NOWHERE for him to go. We are begging for someone to step up and save his life. Even a temporary foster could make all the difference.
